2013

2013, called Twenty-Thirteen and also commonly known as Two Thousand Thirteen, is the third year after the start of the second decade of the 21st Century. This year there was a bunch load of wars, missions, events and lots of stuff, and this year the Fanon Character Gang was formed.

Summary

The year was marked with lots of conflicts and lots of surprises, and is perhaps the brightest year for many around Antarctica, not counting the Snoss and Nexon, and the infamous Yow Kingdom; the latter two collapsed in brutal wars.

2013 was a year of both military and economic expansionism for many nations such as Shops Island, the Culldrome Isles, and Snowiny. War and conflict dominated the Antarctic stage, as the face of Antarctica was forged in blood and fire; nations fell while others rose to glory. At the same time, penguins and puffles alike created ever greater technological innovations, be them for personal use or to be used as weapons of malice. 2013 was truly a year dominated by countries and their leaders, yearning for power and pride. As the year moved on, lain in ruin, 2014 was ahead and a brighter future was afoot.

At the start of the year, the first Multiverse Collision occurred, and the second occurred at the end of it.

January

• 1: The New Year War ends.
• 13: Questisbak's evil plan causes disorder around the multiverse, thus beginning the Multiverse Collision.

February

• 1: Spike Hike is officially inaugurated as the third president of the United States of Antarctica.
• 2: Lavender is officially inaugurated as Shops Island's fifth president.
• Late February: Gerda von Volkmar is kidnapped by the Snoss Government and Gottfried Hochstadt, Gerwin von Ritter, Jock Hochstadt, and Piper J. Cub are rescued in Alemania and taken to Castilla.

March

• Early March: North Joseon commences a wave of threats and bellicose rhetoric calling for war and the nuclear destruction of South Joseon, Japaland, and the USA
• 29: The Great Fourth Wall Collapse begins
• 31: The takedown of terrorist organization TTNM begins.

April

• Early April: The EPF begins to investigate the kidnapping of Gerda von Volkmar while also investigating North Joseon.
• 3: The UAN Resolutions of 2013 begin
• 10: Allied blockade of the Yowien Sea begins
• 19: The takedown of terrorist organization TTNM ends with the death of their kingpin.
• 21: The EPF's Project Infinite fails, and test subject escapes with serum. Agent Rogue Tvarkov is sent to stop the test subject.

May

• 5: Second attack of Project Infinite begins, and are labeled rebels.
• 10: Second attack of Project Infinite ceases.
• 11: Final attack of Project Infinite is launched.
• 15: The Great Yowien War begins.
  • On the same date, Project Infinite ends with the separation of the Infinitists rebels. It is unknown about what happened to their leader, Joshua Helixon.
• 23: The Yow Kingdom officially falls; Yow Partition is formed
• 23: Card Jitsu Snow is discovered and penguins all over Antarctica are playing it.
• 27: The Sealien Presidential Elections of 2013 take place.
• 30: The Natashi Saga initiates.

June

• 2: Rocket Slug's phone is hacked by the nefarious Xet in Invasion of the Phone Snatchers.
• 15: The Puffalia Conflict begins.
• 23: The Puffalia Conflict ends.

July

• 3: The Great Space Race of 2013 begins.
• 11: The damage done from the Hurricane Antarctica is finally cleaned up.
• 16: The Castillan colony of Panamía captures a North Joseonean ship carrying missiles from Maverick.
• 18: The Black Octopus alliance is formed in the Darktonian Realm between Snowzerland, Zhou, North Joseon, the Imperial Forces, Nightmare's Army, and Darktan's Army.
• 19: Flywish is captured by Black Octopus Alliance and is held hostage while Liguria becomes Snoss puppet state
• 20: Snoss and Zhouese invade Região Lisboaguesa; Lisboagal and Frankterre declare war; The Great Snowzerland War VI begins
• 23: The Rock Union is taken over by Margate.
• 31: In a struggle to gain independence, Nexon successfully secedes from Margate

August

• 17: Fort Celatum is constructed.

September

• 2: All the penguins are officially back to school.
• 19: Operation Anti-Terrorism 2.0: War Against Terrorism begins.

October

• 1: Many new seats open up in the South Pole Council.
• 10: Fall of Nexon, the war against Nexon started by Shops, Snowiny and Ed Island has begun.

November

• 3: Nexonan War over; Nexon gains independence, and much more.
• 12: The Plague War: Shops and other countries declare war on the Melodeeves.
• 17: Nexon is forcefully re-annexed by Margate

December

• 25: Christmas
• 26: The Circular Defense Treaty is signed between Snowiny, Rusca and UnitedTerra, setting the stage for the Circular Powers.
• 29: The Circular Defense Treaty comes into effect on the 29th December.
• 30: The Axle Powers are formed in response to The Circular Defense Treaty.
