AdelVille City Airport is the main airport serving the city of AdelVille,and is located 13 miles southeast of the city center. The airport is the main international gateway for the island, and has two terminals, The North Terminal and the South Terminal. The airport has three runways, Runway 1L/19R (11,000 ft.), Runway 1R/19L (9,000 ft.) and Runway 5/23 (10,000 ft.)
History[edit]
AdelVille City Airport was built as Ross Air Force Base in 2000, and was used by the USA's air forces in the War of 2002.The airport was then sold to the municipal government, who then abandoned the airport until 2006. In 2006, SAIA set up a small focus city at the airport, for experimental purposes, which became permanent in 2007. As more and more penguins became attracted to the island, other airlines, such as MammothAir and Club Penguin AirFlights started service to the airport in 2008, during the Tourism boost of the island. In 2009, the airport started international service, to Googolplex, by dorkair.co.dk.
