Adulation of the Monster is the second studio album by Telephonian producers, Tim and Tom. The album succeeds their debut TT House Mafia (2011), which was released in September 2011. The album was released less than a year later on July 22, 2012 by Club Penguin Music Records. The majority of the album was produced by Tim and Tom themselves, however additional production came from DJ Crow, Yusei, Awesomesauce and TrillBron. Recording and production for the album began in February 2011 and finished in July 2012. It features an extensive list of guest appearances whom provide vocals for the songs, such as Furry Flats, Awesomesauce, David Livingston, DJ Melodie, Rockhopper, Meaghan, Awesome Drama Orchestra, the Vocaguins, Bananaphone, Shade the Puffolian, Nevim, Dancing Penguin and Icecuber2d2.

Five singles were released from the album, three of which were released before the album; "Vision" featuring David Livingston, "Easy Jig" featuring Rockhopper, "Bulletproof" featuring Furry Flats and Awesomesauce, "Those Moments" featuring Nevim and Dancing Penguin" and "Fruits" featuring Bananaphone.

Background[edit]

The album features 11 tracks just like on the first disc of TT House Mafia. It follows the album style of having other artists provide the vocals on the songs while Tim and Tom produce them.

Collaborations[edit]

Previous collaboraters Icecuber2d2, DJ Melodie and Meaghan appear on their own respective tracks on Adulation of the Monster. Other appearances include David Livingston, Furry Flats, Awesomesauce, Rockhopper, Awesome Drama Orchestra, Vocaguins, Bananaphone, Shade the Puffolian, Nevim and Dancing Penguin. Terrain rapper and previous collaborater DJ Crow was expected to feature on the record aswell but settled on being a co-producer. The album includes a range of different-pitched vocals, raps and styles.
