Air Arctica, Air Arctica Líneas Aéreas, S.A.U. or Serbian is the national airline of New Maverick. It is the largest airline the country. The airline was formerly named Serbian, but was chnaged to Air Arctica later in 2008.The airline has one main hub at El Presidente International Airport in New Maverick.
History[edit]
In 2000, the airline was found as Serbian. It was the national airline for Serbia, owned by the government, until it became independent in 2002. It remained the flag carrier. The owners were Maw nationalists, in support of an independent Maverick. The Serbian government thought that they didn't set a good example but there was no good reason to arrest the owners. Serbia was in no position to create a new airline.
In 2009, when Maverick split from Serbia, Serbian went with them. Serbia wasn't happy and in an UAN owned court, Serbian faced Serbia, in a battle which would last for four months. In that same year, they agreed with <merging airline> to merge and form an holding company called Intercontinental Airlines Group. In December, the court battle ended, which forced Serbian to rename to Air Arctica, although it was able to use Serbian branded planes and subsidaries. In Feburary 2010, the El Presidente was couped and Air Arctica was forced to become the national airline of New Maverick, rather then risking being the national airline of a military ruled nation.
