Alaska City is a Trans-Antarctican city located on an island in Sub-Antarctic waters. Alaska City is home to a number of penguin species, with the majority being King, Adelie and Viking Penguins. It was formerly under the ownership of the Antarctic Peninsula and later the Sub-Antarctic Islands before being sold to Trans-Antarctica in 2009. It's still rather uncivilized like the rest of of Trans-Antarctica but is slowly getting better because of the island's fish which are selling for good prices. Houses here are made of wood and are the main type of housing on this island. Strangely, the salmon here is said by many to taste great but most of them are unaware of where it comes from

Alaska City does NOT have WiFi connection and any wide-range connection from some other location becomes either low-signaled or unable to connect. In the forest areas of Alaska City there is no signal. Penguins here mainly use oil lamps an use old telephones and television sets. Another thing about the city, is that it's home to a lot of hackers who either remain hidden, or are disguised as civilians. Some penguins here also like to cheat, making prices higher than they are supposed to be for some other penguins. There are no cars here either. Cream Soda is commonly imported here, too.

History[edit]

Records of penguins first inhabiting the area date back to around 4000 BC where remains of housing were found. The city was founded on an island miles off the coast of Antarctica, in what is now Sub-Antarctic waters by some Adelie Penguins from the USA who turned the island into a fishing village in around 1794. They settled down an made their own village not knowing that the island had also been a spot for pirates to put their treasure in. The Adelies started to get more penguins to come to the island. It became a small port around the early 1800's with more and more penguins coming. The pirates, however blended in with the crowd and stole, hung out at bars and lurked around at the ports, looking to steal. The port didn't advance much, but in 1833, the port was expanded and houses were built along the coast and the forest. When they were starting to advance during the High Penguin Confederacy, the Khanzems came to the island after the nation went down and heavily attacked the island until it was brought to rubble. The claimed the island as their own and all penguins were forced to obey.

The last of the pirates didn't like this, and got onto their boats and fired at the Khanzem ships. The Khanzem attacked back and many sunk. Battles broke out every now and then, and strangely, when the rule was overthrown, the island was freed by the pirates. The Khanzem soldiers, however, had inflicted a change over the island. The newer generation had grown up to hate High Penguins and thought that Khanzem was right and the pirates weren't. Eventually, the pirates were chased away by the penguins who agreed with Khanzem. Alaska City was rebuilt back to how it was before, but nobody spent money on it to advance. Many, however, came to the island just for the fish since it somehow tasted best here. The island lived in peace and the population slowly rose. A lot of penguins, specifically King and Viking Penguins, moved to the island during Colonial Antarctica to get away from the monarchy. In 2001, the citizens decided to join the USA after a representative of the Antarctic Peninsula landed on the island and persuaded them to join. In 2003, the island was ceded to the Sub-Antarctic Islands. Years later, in 2009, Trans-Antarctica purchased the island, bringing them to a total of five islands.

Places[edit]

Alaska City also has a large pier where boats and ships come to. It stretches along an eight of the island and is where the rest of the wooden lodges are. There is also a factory in Alaska City that is powered by coal and oil and it is unknown to some of what it produces inside.

Trivia[edit]

  • Alaska City has it's own brand, Alaska Salmon.
    • Alaska Salmon is in the top 75 most sold products.
  • Penguins here have no idea about most things going on in the USA and don't really believe those from their city who have been there.
