The Assassin's Hideout was a secretive hideout for killers and killer-trainees alike, located beside the Dojo. Here, creeps were able to play Spin-Jitsu with each other, or purchase items from the Freddy Farts Emporium, which sold serial killer items through the Martial Martian catalog. The hideout always was a gate to the Life Dojo and Tech Dojo, although the Waffle was required to enter them.
The hideout was extremely serene, featuring a stream, bordered by shrubs and lanterns, that surrounded the center area, with small bridges over it on the left and right edges of the room. There were many training mats and a large waffle on the ground, and a gong on the walls. The Ninja Hideout was the only building in Club Penguin that has no ceiling.

The Hideout open when the dojo was opened. At this time, players had to be a ninja to enter. During Cipher's Tech Scavenger Hunt, construction occurred in the hideout. Once the construction ended, on September 28, 2012, the large waffle on the floor was built. Assassin Progress was also viewed from this room since the hunt began.
At the Celebration of Life, the life tablet and door to the Life Dojo were added, and a Waffle was placed on a wall in the Freddy Farts Emporium. During the Celebration of Tech, the tablet and door to the Tech Dojo were added as well.
After the Spin-Jitsu Party in 2014, the Hideout became accessible to all, instead of ninjas. Cipher also gave out Waffles when penguins enter the hideout.
On May 9, 2016, a Witherstorm damaged the Dojo Courtyard. While this did not harm anyone, an avalanche occurred a week later, destroying the hideout and everyone there. A week after that, the hideout was closed, due to Cipher merging aspects from the hideout with the bowels of the dojo.
