History[edit]
The Benneton Towers have a long history.
They were first planned in 1969. for the year 1976. It was going to be named The Greenfield Point. They started building it, but soon down the entire building collapsed down as it wasn't properly placed. No one was killed though, but 10,000 were injured.
Next, the architects realized it's way to early and hard to make the tower with this kind of tech, and the Benneton Towers construction was immediately suspended.
In 1983., the architects remembered the tower and decided to start rebuilding it in the year of 1986. It was renamed to The Benneton Towers what it is today, and the construction took about 4 years to be finished. After it was done, there were only about 3 floors and the towers were really small. They needed to be expanded, and in 1993., a mission to expand it was started.
In 1996., about 7 floors were added, making them the 7th largest twin towers in the world. The towers soon became the main control of all Snowiny as the president of Snowiny was too busy. More and more and more work was made. In 1999., the towers needed more floors to fit the large number of employees and to give enough space for everything. In 2001., the construction started and in 2004., the construction ended and the towers became the 4th largest towers in Antarctica.
