Bonkey Tong: The Game is an arcade game developed by Snowtendo in 1980. It was possibly Snowtendo's first game. The protagonist is Waddlepeng, who is rescuing his puffle Fluffly from the evil polar bear Bonkey Tong (also known as Grumpy Tong in later games). There are 4 levels in the arcade version. Bonkey Tong throws snowballs down at Waddlepeng, and Waddlepeng has to jump over them.

Bonkey Tong was created when Gamer B. Gadget decided to make an arcade game in 1980. He created the main character, Waddlepeng, and his puffle Fluffly. He decided to make a polar bear the villain. His name was Bonkey G. Kong. The resulting game was a major breakthrough for Snowtendo and for the video game industry, becoming one of the best selling arcade machines of its time. Its platforming gameplay also distinguished it from most other arcade games at the time.
