Edward Hopper, notoriously known as Burntbeard, is an infamous Puffish pirate who lived long before the USA or Olde Antarctica. He is an ancestor of Rockhopper, though he was not a "nice" pirate like Rockhopper. He was infamous for plundering the seas and was incredibly scary.
Biography[edit]
Early life[edit]
Historians say that Edward Hopper hatched in Scotzeh in the late 1600s or early 1700s. It is said that he grew up in a wealthy family in a small fishing village, and that he received a proper education due to that wealth.
Sometime after the formation of Puffle'and, Hopper became a sea merchant. However, he began to hate the Puffish government during King George's War, because Puffish navy ships would constantly take all of his supplies "for the war". He already hated the Puffle species since he had an allergy to Puffle fur.
Becoming Burntbeard[edit]
So, after the war ended Hopper decided to become a pirate, to take back everything that was stolen from him. He assembled a decent crew of eight, and took off on Hopper's merchant ship, the Explorer. He also took on a new name, Edward George, as to not disgrace his family name.
The crew received a name as petty thieves and rebels against the government for stealing food, medicine and other supplies.
Death[edit]
Eventually everyone got tired of his plundering and destruction so a one million coin bounty was put on his head. Many seamen failed to kill him, but one was successful. They took the bounty and lived a wealthy life. It's rumored that the penguin that earned the bounty was Burntbeard himself, after shaving his beard and changing his appearance.
Trivia[edit]
- Obviously inspired by the real pirate.
- He wore a bunch of pink frilly ribbons on his giant beard, which might seem silly, but he would light them on fire giving him the illusion of his beard burning.
- However this caused his beard to char. Have you smelt burning hair? It is NOT nice.
