Candy Cane Lane is the second single from Meaghan's sophomore album "CandyLand". It was released on June 6th, 2011.
Background[edit]
The song is about letting someone get lost and never see him or her again. In this case, being getting lost in a creepy "Candy cane lane". The song got a Platinum certification by the RIAAC. The song got less attention compared to other singles released from the album.
Critical Reception[edit]
The song was well received from critics who praised the lyric structure of the song.
Cover Artwork[edit]
Meaghan expressed she didn't want to put a lot of effort into the covers of the singles. She did the cover herself, copying the same stuff found in the CandyLand cover, and adding the words "Candy Cane Lane" and "Meaghan". The cover has candy cane figures, a blue cotton candy cloud (a reference to other song from the same album called "(Evil) Cotton Candy Clouds", a broken chocolate (that according to Meaghan means "evil") and a pink sky.
