Verbazend Island (Dutch: Verbazend Eiland) is a state of the Seal Islands, located in the center of the Sealien Archipelago. The mainland has an area of 2228km2 (860.2 sq mi). As of 2013, it is inhabited by more than 2,600,000 penguins, making it the most populated and densely populated state of the Seal Islands (with the exception of colonies, such as Suome). The density of the population is 1177.3 penguin per km2, however, most of that population is put into cities such as De Groot and De Romijn, other places such as De Schiereiland lack high population values. The capital of the island is De Groot, also the capital of the whole nation.
