Welcome to the 2015 Fanon Awards Nomination and Votes page! The basic rules are:

1. You may nominate two pages per category.

2. Please be sure to say why your nominees should win their awards.

3. When it comes time to vote, the administrators may cut down the amount of nominees to make voting easier.

  • User:Cp kid- Cp kid has been arguably our most important user this year. He's undertaken so many programs and responsibilities that I've forgotten half of them. His niceness makes him a man that I could never even aspire to be. He has done well for himself as an admin, almost always showing a high degree of temperance and skill. ~TheBroMaster
  • User:Fooly8- Fooly's done a lot this year. From the Flipplings, to the 2015 special, showing his art skills with Paper Fanon and more. Best Story[edit]

  • An Explosive New Year- Arguably the most successful Special. It is humorous, dramatic and tense all at the same time. ~Fooly8
  • Fanon Characters Halloween Special 2009!- One of the first special stories, dating waaay back. Nostalgic and a fun story. ~Ninjinian
  • South of Club Penguin- Very creative and original, gave insight to the past of Club Penguin, and its ninja heritage. CKSig.pngWannaTalk? 07:27, 12 January 2016 (UTC)
  • Shadow of Culldrome- I don't think I've ever read the whole thing, but it's one of Chub's best stories to date, so I wanted to nominate it instead another such as Battle of Culldrome. CKSig.pngWannaTalk? 07:27, 12 January 2016 (UTC)

  • Saviors from Above- A pretty good not-all-about-war story from Bro, with parody elements from 1984 (book). CKSig.pngWannaTalk? 11:30, 6 January 2016 (UTC)

Best Series[edit]

Best story series. Must have two or more stories to be considered a series.
  • Flipplings Series- Fooly is one of our most creative users, and the Flipplings series doesn't disappoint. It's nice to see what Fooly's family is like and it has much more character development. I even like the supporting characters such as Cooly, Justa, and Rose (Who Foopy may or may not have a crush on |:3). Overall this is a great series and, let's be honest, made Fooly as a character less boring. ~Mr Cow2
  • EPF Agents Series- EPF Agents is the best series of spies and heroism on this wiki (Yes, two and a half stories is still a series!). It features Clovis and Dave Hochstadt going on multiple harrowing adventures to keep Antarctica safe, whether it be to stop a nuclear weapon or to save a damsel in distress. No matter what kind of spy action you're looking for, this series has it. ~TheBroMaster
  • Great Snowzerland War Series- The Great Snowzerland Wars are the foundation for many future countries and all future war stories to come. It, no matter how controversial it was, paved the way for the current climate that exists in article-making on Fanon right now. ~TheBroMaster
  • The Snoss Civil War series. Comprising of that story, along with The Last Stand and possibly One Last Hope. Even if it's just the SCW and TLS, it's still a great series that describes the fall of Swiss Ninja. Though it has a lot of Star Wars references and parodies, it's still pretty cool imo.   • The Epic Adelie Story- An entire series of stories written by Chub 777, focusing on the Adelie brothers. CKSig.pngWannaTalk? 07:27, 12 January 2016 (UTC)

Best War Article / Story[edit]

Any war related story or article.
  • Frosian War- This is the longest war story and one of the most action-packed war stories on Fanon. Every theatre of war is taken to the extreme in a battle between good and evil (with plenty of subplots on the side involving secret agents and terrorism!). ~TheBroMaster
  • War in Slumolia- Just to have something compete with the Frosian War. One of the few war articles that is not a story. ~Ninjinian

  • Ed Island Space Command- Used for exploration, but also for war, the Ed Island Space Command is one of the best space fleets in Antarctica. CKSig.pngWannaTalk? 07:27, 12 January 2016 (UTC)

Best Parody Article[edit]

The best parody article on the wiki. Can be a story, character, location, etc.
  • Castilla- Most notable parody on the wiki, parodies Spain's history, flag, etc. Probably the most prominent of the AU Parody countries, other than Snowzerland itself (which is only a partial parody). CKSig.pngWannaTalk? 15:20, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
  • 2014 UGFA World Cup- A completed, parody sports event that did draw attention when it was made. ~Ninjinian
  • Keysaber- A very creative joint parody of lightsabers, before they existed, and key swords from kingdom hearts. CKSig.pngWannaTalk? 07:27, 12 January 2016 (UTC)

The... "best new user"! Someone who joined the wiki in 2015 or late 2014.
  • User:Mrdave921- Mrdave921 is a great editor who has taken the time to look back at our older and more destitute articles and give them a helping hand. He is also a nice user who doesn't cause any trouble. ~TheBroMaster
  • User:Brant- Though we've had our clashes, while Brant was here he seemed really passionate about making a positive difference. CKSig.pngWannaTalk? 11:30, 6 January 2016 (UTC)

  • User:Puffle Escape- Really went a long way from the tons of small LQAs. ~Fooly8
  • User:Brant- I know at first Brant was kind of a huge noob, but people who move from wikia usually are :P Despite that, I think over the year he's been here, Brant's attitude and willingness to cooperate and help out qualify him as a candidate for this.   • User:Fooly8- I know I'm already nominating him for User of the Year, but I think Fooly applies here too.   • User:TheBroMaster- In the last three years, Bro's written some of the most interesting and recognizable stories on the wiki.   • User:Feey1- He doesn't receive much recognition anymore, but while he was here Feey wrote at least 5 stories about Yow and his character, including 2011's Featured Article of the Year.   • User:Fooly8- Fooly's drawings are cute and never fail to entertain me. He has a very distinct and simplistic style in contrast to more the complex techniques of Amigo and I. ~TheBroMaster

  • User:Puffle Escape- While I'm still salty about a bunch of things concerning him, User:Puffle Escape has proven interested in the community of this wiki, participating in a variety of events and collaborating with other users such as User:Mr Cow2 (Seige on PuffleVille) and me (the crossover between 12 Takes and Tale of 10). ~Fooly8
  • User:Amigopen- There's really no reason not to like Amigopen. He's friendly, creative, and not to mention a good artist. He's also a good admin, but I can say that about all of them. Heck, he's got the word "Amigo" in his name! ~Mr Cow2

  • User:Wonderweez- As an admin and editor, Wonder often gets involved in community projects and discussions. He's very level-headed too, which is always good to keep the community focused or compromising on things when there may otherwise be turmoil among us. Best Overall Character[edit]

Not meaning a Mary Sue, who do you think is the best overall character, considering their personality, feats, flaws, etc.
  • You- While it is technically not a character page, no one can deny that You is an undeniably essential character to the CPFW. As the page itself states, "You are you. You may or may not be us. You are the reader, you are the one keeping this weekee alive. Therefore, you are the most important character. And that's why Mabel hates you." Not only that, but You is also the first article ever made in the CPFW. ~Fooly8
  • Kwiksilver- A character which I always admired, very notable for his time-travelling endeavours. Also giving 'You' something to compete with. ~Ninjinian

Best Group of Characters[edit]

Any group of characters.

Best Leader[edit]

The best leading character, anything from a president to a single character that has proven themselves in the right situations at leading others.
  • Lavender- Lavender definitely has the largest article of any character who is just a leader. He leads Shops Island, one of the most powerful countries in Antarctic. He is a (mostly) fair ruler who is a little too trigger-happy. ~TheBroMaster
  • Brant- The new president of a relatively new country, the article also pretty close to a high quality articlee. He also has a good story line, going from soldier to president in 15 years. In addition to that, he helped his country get into the Western Union. ~Brant
  • TurtleShroom- You have to admit, though he had his bad side, TurtleShroom did rule the Clubb Phengin Weekee (mostly) without incident for years before he was finally overthrown by the people. He stopped Walrus raids, whiners, and people who went against the rules alike. Though he's timid and somewhat shy most of the time, as soon as you mention "power" he stops at nothing to get it; and once he has it he isn't afraid to use every bit of it to lead others to follow his orders or be banned.   • Frederick Mueller - Margatian President who unleashed the historical era known as the 'New Order' in Margate.
  • Gary the Gadget Guy- Though he's not the Director of the EPF, Gary still does a great job of keeping things in order, and leading agents to success. CKSig.pngWannaTalk? 07:27, 12 January 2016 (UTC)

Best Good Guy(s)[edit]

Any protagonist, no matter if they're considered a "hero", or something less. Can be a group of good characters.
  • The Flipplings- DAWWWW SO CUTE! ~Mcdonalds394
  • All of Them- Every hero is heroic in their own rights, and they each have different downsides to match. For example, one hero might save the Iceberg from drifting away but he could be super Wario greedy. I believe you can't judge any hero on their overall status, I mean, look at Mario. Sure he might save the princess, but he also abuses animals and HIS OWN BROTHER. And if you're wondering where to put this award, put it on the "Heroes" category. ~Mr Cow2
  • Antarctica's Protectors- A group consisting of a great number of the wiki's old generation of heroes, from Kwiksilver, to Tails, Speeddasher, Zone, Explorer, Ninjinian, etc., this might be the best group of Good Guys around (they are called Antarctica's Protectors), though they're highly underrated nowadays. Best Bad Guy(s)[edit]

Any antagonist, no matter if they're considered a "villain" or something less. Can be a group of characters.
  • Swiss Ninja Hochstadt- A TYRANNICAL EGOTISTIC DICTATOR SITH ADULTERER! How could he get more evil and awesome? ~TheBroMaster
  • Illumination-Looking Luxurious Underminer Masterfully Inceptively Not A Triangle Interstellar- The only MLG article out there. Meme fans will love this guy. He is reportedly related to lennies, 40 cakes, zergs, Arwings, tables, ogres, and super saiyans. Oh, and he's evil, just to assure that yes he belongs here. ~Star kirby12
  • Mabel- Not exactly a villain, but c'mon. We all loath Mabel and she hates us back.. ~Fooly8
  • Tiny- I don't expect him to win an award this year, but believe me, now that he's alive again, you're gonna see a lot more of him.

Best Sidekick / Minion[edit]

Best character often seen as a "sidekick/minion" to a more notable hero or villain.
  • Leonardo di Tremezzo- Leonardo is always at Clovis' (or someone else's) side and is there to supply equipment or sage advice to help his friends on their escapades. Leonardo has helped get the group out of trouble multiple times, even though he is in need of rescuing just as often. ~TheBroMaster
  • DaiBouken- Look, I know this article didn't win the FAOTM over and over again, but I still wanna take a shot. Who doesn't love giant robots? Who doesn't love combining giant robots? DaiBouken is the Multiverse's representative giant robo, possessing more combination capabilities than any of the other Hero Mechas. Now if only I was any good at animating. Some of this stuff I really wanna show off. ~Star kirby12

The best canon character article on the wiki.
  • Cadence- A character whom CP has given little development has fared very well on our wiki. Cadence has become the wiki's best Canon character with an extensive music career which continues to be updated in the present day. ~TheBroMaster
  • Rockhopper- Anything is better than the new "I made everything up" Rockhopper. ~Fooly8

Best Country[edit]

The best country.
  • Shops Island- Yet another shameless self-promotion. But for srs, Shops is the most developed and most detailed country article on Fanon. Its existence and actions have shaped a large part of wiki continuity for the past three years as well. ~TheBroMaster
  • Acadia- A self promotion, like Bro. Acadia is a relatively new article, but it's been expanded and is what could be considered a high quality article. It also has a place in this wiki, with quite a few mentions. ~Brant
  • UnitedTerra- A very detailed country that helped expand beyond Antarctica, has a lot of major characters from there, and is pretty wacky and diverse, which reminds us of the old days of CPFW Mectrixctic Talk to me! See the articles I worked on.. see my 5,674 edits! 06:41, 11 January 2016 (UTC)

  • Freezeland- Not the best stat-wise (militarily or economically), it's close to the USA who they have great relations with. Ruled as a monarchy by King Triskelle, Freezeland is a reminder of the High Penguin Confederacy.

The best city.
  • Shops City- CUZ ITS THE CAPITAL OF SHOPS ISLAND ~Quackerpingu
  • South Pole City- No other city article comes close to being as detailed, comprehensive and relevant as any other city article. It has been a key location in many stories and is the political center of the USA, the most important country in Antarctica. ~TheBroMaster
  • Club Penguin Island- The city this whole wiki is based around. The most recognizable city in Antarctica, one of the only ones with server technology, and the capital of the Sub-Antarctic Islands. CKSig.pngWannaTalk? 20:56, 6 January 2016 (UTC)

Best other location, that isn't a city or country.
  • Fanon Characters Special 2015's Mirror World- While not exactly the best place to live in if you're a good guy, the Mirror World opens more opportunities for stories. Like if it where something from "What if...", but real...er.
  • Farleya- Colony of Shops Island, but formerly a country for 800 or so years. CKSig.pngWannaTalk? 07:27, 12 January 2016 (UTC)

Best Videogame[edit]

Any video game article.
  • Super Smash Mates for Snowtendo 3DS and Vii N- Other than Specials, nothing brings the community together like Super Smash Mates, and this edition is better than ever. While Brawl was bigger in size, Snowtendo 3DS / Vii N brought more characters than ever and even included some 3rd party characters from Wikia, not to mention stages, music, unlocks and Yii Outfits. ~Fooly8
  • Speed World- Just so there's a second nomination. A very old game dating back to 2009. ~Ninjinian
