Club Penguin Fanon Wiki:Coaching Association
Note: This page shouldn't be regarded as an official policy. I'm going to bring this into an official proposal.
Welcome to the official project page of the Coaching Association, a team of veteran volunteers who wish to help new users integrate into the Club Penguin Fanon Wiki. The aim is to ensure that new users know continuity as well as any other user, the norms of editing this Wiki and other such information. Our first coach was Austin8310, who coached Swiss Ninja, although the phrase didn't enter the Wiki until Swiss Ninja offered his services as a Coach to Feey1. On IRC, Swiss Ninja was discussing the possibility of helping Feey1, stating that he had potential. I, along with several other users, agreed with him and Swiss Ninja became the first semi-official coach of the Club Penguin Fanon Wiki. With an influx of new users, it is now obvious that more Coaches are required. This project is based upon the adopt-a-user project on Wikipedia.
What is a Coach?[edit]
- A Coach is someone sworn to help new users in finding their way through the Wiki.
- They watch over their assignment as he or she makes edits and creates user page.
- A Coach advices users over things such as policy (i.e making articles which aren't OOC), in particular OOC and ensuring their user is able to understand continuity so that OOC problems are rare.
- A Coach may also help new users with any questions they have, whether it is how to upload an image, creating your first page, etc.
- Finally, a Coach is there to ensure that the user has fun and does not quit the Wiki.
