I looked forward to it being finished. It never did. Ladies and gentlemen, Operation Operating: The Dorkugese Micro War. I shall be taken charge of the story, if you want to sign up, sign up.

Moderators[edit]

This project will follow an Halo Fanon like system. Editors-in-Chief shall choose what's finalised (basically a Director and Coordinator of the story) (current is The Leader), Moderators have less power but may remove sections which they believe are not needed. Moderators will be handed control of several characters created for the story and know the story in good enough backgrounds. A Moderator may freely approve or create a plot twist which he sees as beneficial.They may at any time, without warning and authorization, make minor edits to your posts to either conform to spelling, grammar, or policy standards.

Current Moderators[edit]

  • The Leader - The Leader knows a fair bit about Unix (especially Macintosh), Linux and Windows. He is also to one to submit ideas to. He will also be making the story as neutral as possible.
  • Refractor - Refractor is our Linux specialist and is the one to contact on things like Ubuntu, KDE, open source etc.
  • XTUX345 - XTUX knows his way around Windows and is a pro graphics editor (or so the Leader says). He was also the first member to sign up to the revival.
  • Andrew - Andrew knows the 3 major operating systems, and he has experience with ReactOS, a free, open-source Windows clone. He can also draw vector graphics with Inkscape. Hopefully, he can spell-check the thing!

Operation Operating: The Dorkugese Micro War, was meant to be World War I, World War II and the Cold War (not as actual parodies, I'm just expressing it) but it's first chapter was never even finished! Basically, it would be Doors against the other operating systems (Penguin OS, Peach OS Z, Ice Shard etc). I am now encouraging you to sign up to revive it.

  • Mister Bean and the entire army of Waffleland.-Mr. Bean may be extremely stupid, but Waffleiean generals are known to be brilliant (and also extremely eccentric).--XTUX is on teh job! 23:47, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
  • Wild Teddy Bears-These villainous inhabbants of Waffleland go wherever all the fighting is and would make great solders but the trouble is...they don't abide by the COC, and have no problem killing everything in sight in the brutalest manner possible, even their own teammates!

Penguin OS and other OSes[edit]

  • Captain Moose-Captain Moose was recruited by ZapWire as a member of the Penguin OS team, but causes more damage to his own sie with his clumsyness then any Doors team member could possibly ever manage to do.--XTUX is on teh job! 01:05, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
