Too Many Awards?[edit]
Star, I'm glad to see that you're so enthusiastic about this, but I think we might just have too many awards. For example, I don't think we need all of the "new" awards, like Best "new" country leader, best "new" evil country leader, best "new" weapon, best "new" country, and even best "new" video game, considering most of those aren't large categories, and as such they probably won't have many options. The exception might be Best New Evil Leader, if it was changed to something like "Best Villain" (so it wouldn't have to be a country leader).
Furthermore with award selection, I personally think that "Best Dimension", "Best Fast Food Restaurant", "Best Evil Leader", "Best bcrat" and "Best Classic User" are also unneeded. Not a lot of people know about the different "dimensions", so it's kind of me, I don't think there would be a lot of fast food places to choose from, it'd be Mcdoodles or burger khan, best evil leader in general would still be a small category- UNLESS it's changed to "Best Villain" or something along those lines. Best B-crat would be Swiss by default since he's the only b-crat, and best classic user just seems irrelevant now.
To be fair, I think we need to renovate all of the award names. I feel like half of my hesitation is just reading the titles, for example, "Best Classic User Award" just sounds odd. Maybe something like "Honorable User Award" or something would be better- because we can't just choose one user from the past :S Also, I think it's quite weird to have "Best" in front of everything, or have EVERY award named after something. Actually, I think I'll make a page for proposed changes in my User blog tomorrow, but for now these are my opinions. Not trying to be mean or anything.
One more thing. I surely think we should incorporate all of our usual yearly awards into this (Article of the Year, Quote of the Year, etc.)

- Okay, so maybe there were waaaaay too many awards given. I cut some out for the moment. By the way, there's already a "Best Villain" award (Darktan). I'm still wondering about the Featured Article and Quote of the Year, because they would be for both the For Fun and For Glory categories, so there would be some contradictions.
