Clarification on what this project is for those who are lazy to read

This project doesn't propose closing the wiki. It proposes that we invite all old users (by old, I mean like pre-2010 and those that left around 2011 and 2012) and together they work on one final collab as a big thank you to the Club Penguin Fanon Wiki audience, for all the fun times they had. Good idea. I know that Hat Pop's still here, but Turtleshroom is out of the question because he's a fugitive now. I guess you could get Swiss Ninja back, but that's very unlikely because he's retired.

First and foremost, I apologize for the unfinished FGJ saga, as I was the one responsible for attempting to finish it. I got sidetracked a lot.

I know HF visits occasionally, SN quit very recently, and Tails dropped by a few weeks ago, but that's about all of the older users who have stopped by recently. Finding the others will be painstakingly hard. Not to mention the fact that with the absence of them, the wiki now drastically focuses on countries thanks to some people (it's a joke guys don't take this srsly). This means either we won't have enough new users to collaborate or the older users will be displeased at what the wiki's become and not help out in the first place, and that's if we can find them.

It will be a painstaking process to not only find where everyone's gone, but to convince them to come back. It's literally been years since some of them have even thought about this place, let alone contributed.

Yeah hey, things are going to be really hard but hey this is the internet, people leave paper trails. Ideally I'd like to somehow intertwine old user material with new user material, we will see how things work out. But again, this is from the old guys.

You are right when you say that some people will get turned off at what yhe site is now. Just from you saying TS is banned, I know Explorer won't participate but this does pose a convenient method where I can basically market that to the old guys and say now that TS is banned we have free reign to write what we want (because all the veterans hated the loving crap out of censorship and TS was a main force behind that) Zone 14:33, 2 October 2015 (UTC)

Actually this isn't as hard as we think.

I could send Metalmanager a message, because I still remember his Facebook. He knows Tails6000 and Sk8itbot (his bro) and Tails is good friends with Speeddasher so I'll find him through Tails. Bam, 4 birds with 1 stone.

The only ones I see that are going to be a problem to find are Triskelle3 and Dancing Penguin. Triskelle I didn't really know on a personal level, neither did I with DP (although DP pretty much got me into this site and took me under his wing I didn't really chill with him much besides at UNCP, and even then we didn't really exchange contact details or anything) Zone 15:16, 2 October 2015 (UTC)

I agree with this, let's keep it simple at this stage. We don't want to complicate things with countries and stuff. It's either going to be an adventure story or a director's (benny) cut of the wiki where it tells you behind the scenes stuff like origins of the USA, how to draw characters etc. Zone 15:49, 2 October 2015 (UTC)

I really like the sound of this. As for WoF users, Flywish edited frequently over the summer, so even if we don't know of another way to contact him, he might come back here. Swiss might know of a way to contact Austin. As for TS, he's refused to come back here until certain things are changed, but if presented properly he might help make a "last huzzah" story. I wouldn't even know where to start looking for Triskelle or Explorer, but they're some big names from the past, and should definitely be looked for. WannaTalk? 17:22, 2 October 2015 (UTC)

I wasn't around when Mariothemovie was here so I really can't tell you whether it would work or not. I do remember her coming in here occasionally and blasting TS about how he's changed her site and taken away what her true intentions for it were though. Try it anyways, whether she decides to or not is her call but we do need to at least talk to her at some stage because if it wasn't for her, none of us would be here. My bad

Went on a bit of a hiatus recently, sorry. Just life.

Anyway, I was reading a whole lot of space books when I was on hiatus and I've come to the conclusion that an asteroid would be incredibly awesome to write about. Collision with the planet would also open the way for numerous other penguin articles, since penguins migrate and the like.

I'll be here on and off, but once I get a cover done and start writing stuff up it will be REALLY technical. I'm thinking that private companies monopolize on the situation and start making underground bunkers or something. Dunno at this stage, could write a conspiracy involved with it. Thoughts? I like the migration idea. An asteroid endangering the whole of Antarctica sounds great, everyone would have to find a new habitat (reminds me of Ice Age). The companies idea is also good. It would be more along the lines of how do we stop an asteroid from destroying the world? kind of thing. Like perhaps we could deploy some sort of solar sail to change the trajectory of the asteroid. Furthermore if it's a real big one, there's the chance that it could've came from the asteroid belt and brought in smaller asteroids in its gravitational pull. We could also have a perspective view of other penguins/characters, seeing as since this is such a catastrophic event there will be global panic. Media frenzy and the like. If we were to look at this idea from different angles and perspectives, we could flesh the asteroid thing out even more. Zone 23:19, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
