The Coffee Shop Barista, real name CoffeeLover487 is a fairly well-known penguin who lives on Club Penguin Island and works at the Coffee Shop. She is loved by the locals for her kindness, politeness, and her superb coffee. While she is unbeatable when it comes to making cookes, she is very modest about it and prefers chatting with others about life in general. She is equally kind to both members and non-members; and when she has time off she often visits her neighbors and makes a delicious meal for them. She wishes she could have fame and fortune, but she remains fairly poor as she often donates her money to various charities such as Coins for Change. This has won her the hearts of Club Pengin's various inhabitants.

Background[edit]
Early Life[edit]
On November 14th, 1985, the Coffee Shop Barista was born to two big-hearted penguins. Given the name CoffeeLover487 at birth, her parents were extremely happy to have their 4th child and 2nd daughter. She grew up in that loving family and did what all chicks like to do. Her mother loved cooking, and often prepaired delicious meals for the family (which the Barista says were even better then her own). She often taught her daughters how to cook, and CoffeeLover487 seemed to learn the fastest. Her mother was extremely proud of her and CoffeeLover487 often helped make dinner. But then, tragedy struck. Her mother became very ill in 1996 and died on the 15th of May, 1996. The whole family was heartbroken, and the remainder of the Barista's childhood was spent in mourning for her mother's loss.
Getting Employed[edit]
On December 21st, 1999, CoffeeLover487's father died of a heart attack, and the family gradually split up. The others were adopted by relatives, but CoffeeLover487 was sadly not adopted with them as they had no more room. Saddened, she began to roam Club Penguin, looking for a job. But luck was with her. On January 14th, 2000, she walked into the Coffee Shop and asked for a job. The manager told her that she could be a janitor, and she gladly took up the offer. The pay was not good, but at least she had a job, and she worked joyfully. But there was one problem- the current barista often mocked her, and although CoffeeLover487 was not easily offended, the barista's frequent "Yo Momma" jokes directed at her re-opened old wounds. And finally, when she said "Yo Momma can't even cook, you $&%#!", CoffeeLover487 snapped. She rushed over to the counter, leaped right at the barista, and struck her right in the face with the flipper. She was knocked out cold and had to go to the hospital, and during her recovery she sued her.
Becoming the Barista[edit]
The lawsuit was eventually settled on March 27th, 2000 when the court ruled that CoffeeLover was provoked, and she went back to working at the Coffee Shop. It was then that the manager noticed her extraordinary talent and hired her on the spot. She proved immensely popular with the locals, and business shot up. Both parties were very happy, and they remain that way to this day.
Personality[edit]
The Coffee Shop Barista is kindhearted and very, very talkative. She loves to converse with her costumers while she prepares their delicious coffee, and she is known to have a lot of interesting stories to tell. Even though she is talkative, she doesn't cross the line to bubbly or a babbler, and she is probally the most interesting penguin to talk with on Club Penguin. Her baking is unmatched, and her coffee is superb, and she is probally the reason why the coffee shop is famous. Not liking to keep secrets unless absolutly nessecary, she often publishes cookbooks containing her recepies and techniques, all of them bestsellers. But the main reason for her fame is her kindness to all. She is extremely polite to all she meets, member or non-member, and she is even fairly polite to robbers (although usually those that DO mean buisness get crushed by an anvil thrown for her)!
Involvement[edit]
The Coffee Shop Barista works at the Coffee Shop, serving coffee and other snacks to the locals. It is the ideal place for her to work, and she enjoys it immensely (as it is a great place to chat with others and make great coffee). She has often been of great service to the EPF and PSA, as her helpful attitude and great eye for detail has helped solve many a case. Even though she may be kindhearted and gentle, she is less forgiving of robbers then the workers at the Pizza Parlor. She is known to throw anvils at robbers (and there are not too many, as most of them would never think of robbing the Coffee Shop), and it is for this reason that the Coffee Shop often orders anvils, to keep her supply up.
