"Come Out and Fight" is a song written by pro-Ed Island nationalists during Snowiny's occupation of the country during 2013. Symbolizing the Snowinn invasion as a temporary obstacle, the song was used throughout the Ed-Snowinn Civil War to rally the Ed Liberation Army.

Symbolism[edit]
The song describes the Snowinn occupational force by their uniforms, being colored black and tan, as oppressive and overzealous. While including true events (i.e. the execution of several notable resistance members), much of the song is exaggerated or embellished. The reasoning behind this was said to both give Snowiny's forces a negative image, and also to rile up Ed Islandian citizens to aide in the fight to restore Ed Island's former sovereignty.
Lyrics[edit]
I was born in the Bridgeport street
Where the loyal drums do beat,
And the loving Snowinn feet trampled over us;
And every single night when my father'd come home tight,
He'd invite the neighbors out with this chorus:
Come out you black and tans,
Come out and fight me like a man,
Show your wife how you won medals down in Sotha;
Tell her how the ELA made you all back down away,
From the green and lovely lanes of Erde-Tyrenne.
Come let us hear you tell
How you slammed the brave Wolfell,
And taught him well and truly persecuted;
Where are the sneers and jeers that you proudly let us hear,
When our heroes of sixteen were executed.
Come out you black and tans,
Come out and fight me like a man,
Show your wife how you won medals down in Sotha;
Tell her how the ELA made you all back down away,
From the green and lovely lanes of Erde-Tyrenne.
Martin, Duncan, and O'Brien--
How you bravely called them swine!
Fredrick Ross who you hung and drew and quartered!
High upon that scaffold high,
How you murdered Fergus Nye!
And our Navy Boys from Bloodstone you did slaughter!
Come out you black and tans,
Come out and fight me like a man,
Show your wife how you won medals down in Sotha;
Tell her how the ELA made you all back down away,
From the green and lovely lanes of Erde-Tyrenne.
Oh! Come out you Snowinn Huns,
Come out and fight without your guns,
Show your wife how you won medals up in Highpoint;
You murdered sixteen men and you'll do the same again,
So get out of here and take your bloody army.
Come out you black and tans,
Come out and fight me like a man,
Show your wife how you won medals down in Sotha;
Tell her how the ELA made you all back down away,
From the green and lovely lanes of Erde-Tyrenne.
Oh! Come out you black and tans,
Come out and fight me like a man,
Show your wife how you won medals down in Sotha;
Tell her how the ELA made you all back down away,
From the green and lovely lanes of Erde-Tyrenne.
