'Daniel and the Flashlight is eleventh episode of the TV show Snowy Falls and the third episode in the story arc. It returns the flashlight from "Happy Birthday", which is how the episode relates to the story arc.
Plot[edit]
The episode begins with Daniel reading his journal, the one like Jake's but with a number 2 on it instead of 3, that was introduced in "Lil' Daniel". Daniel is skimming through to find a good way to destroy the Mystery Igloo, and decides that his original option of simply taking over was a better choice, so he tricks Grunkle John with a random contest for a free 1,000,000 coins, in which he must sign for, and he signs over the Mystery Igloo to Daniel. However, it appears his trick has backfired, and John has really signed "SUCK ICE CUBES LITTLE MAN", storming Daniel off.
The following night, Daniel sneaks into the Mystery Igloo and tries to find something that can help him, and finds the shrinking/growing flashlight from "Happy Birthday". He sneaks it back to his igloo to test it out and see if it really works, and is surprised to find out it does. When Jake and Cora are out in the yard of the Mystery Igloo, Daniel gets them with the flashlight when they least expect it, and puts them in a jar.
Daniel brings them to his igloo and interrogates Jake about where he got the flashlight, but is called by his dad saying that his ice cream is here, and leaves them alone on top of his desk. Cora takes one of Daniel's gummy polars and it fills up her pocket. Jake and Cora use a toothbrush lying on his desk to climb off of the desk and sneak out after Daniel, who is just finishing his ice cream and about to take the bus to the Mystery Igloo so he can shrink John and take the place. However, Daniel is distracted and gets angry at his father for a second when he is tickled by him, and makes a fuss for a bit.
Jake and Cora climb to the top of a telephone pole and uses the wires to ride quickly across the streets, and make it to the Mystery Igloo around the same time Daniel makes it there, and Cora uses the gummy polar to distract Daniel by throwing it in his hair, and he drops his flashlight. They use another wire to make it to Daniel and are about to grow back to their normal sizes, but Jake bickers about growing to equal size, and their fighting gets Daniel's attention and he puts them back in the jar.
When Daniel walks in, he sees Deuce walking around, and to make sure he doesn't get in the way, Daniel shrinks him too and puts him in the jar. Deuce accidentally gives out the location of John in the Mystery Igloo at the time while trying to taunt Daniel, and fortunately for them, John was working on a mirror maze at the time, so Daniel has no idea where he is in the maze. Daniel smashes all of the mirrors to reveal the real John and threatens to shrink him if he doesn't give up the Mystery Igloo.
Jake, Cora, and Deuce, however, manage to escape the jar and crawl into Daniel's shirt and start tickling him, based on what Jake and Cora had seen with Daniel and his father earlier, which makes Daniel laugh and flop around the floor, and makes John think Daniel has gone insane. John rolls Daniel right out the door and down the steps, and the three who were shrunken get back up the steps when Daniel drops his flashlight, and they all get back in and grow themselves to normal size, and Jake apologizes to Cora about the fuss about growing back to equal size.
Everything appears to go back to normal for now, until Daniel decides it is time to find one of the most evil things he can find in the book and use it on the Mystery Igloo...
