De Schiereiland is the farming capital of the Seal Islands. 94% of the Sealien farms are located in this small faming town. With a population of 72,211 it is one of Seal Islands' least populated towns.

De Schiereiland was founded in May 2005 when the Seal Islands were in heavy need of farming goods, but not exported ones.
Economy[edit]
De Schiereiland's economy is obviously located around farming. Actually, 90% of the industry is focused on farming, the rest is focused on tourism, which the small town also provides. Birdwatchers from all around Antarctica are rather common here from the period of April-June. Bed & Breakfast hotels are also very common around this town.
Culture[edit]
Culture is based up on farming, in August and September, Farming festivals are held. Also held is the "My Cutie" festival, which features the best crops all farmers had this season.
