Dolphinas (Pronounced DÖl-phI-nãs) is a medium-sized city located on the northwestern coast of Snowiny. The area is known for its warm conditions in the summer and the humid weather in the winter. Some consider Dolphinas an excellent spot for surfing, swimming, water polo, and other water related activities and sports. The city is also known for its soccer team, the Dolphinas Sky Bullets, which is the biggest team in Snowiny in terms of goals scored. This region of the country makes up almost 1/6 of the Snowinian mainland population. The current mayor is Slidur de Corovou.

History[edit]
Dolphinas was founded as one of the largest cities in the Osloven Empire. It had a really rich culture and was a popular tourist destination. However, the worst times we're yet to come when Dolphinas became under cruel High Penguin occupation.
The High Penguin Confederacy and Dolphinas[edit]
Dolphinans we're treated harshly by the HPs and many moved to Winsburg, where they're safe from the High Penguin Confederacy due to Winsburg being occupied by the Oslovens. Dolphinans we're too afraid to hold a revolution against the cruel High Penguin Confederacy due to the fact Dolphinas was a small little town by then. Eventually, no Osloven / Dolphinan / Snowinian was safe from HPC after the HPC took over Winsburg in 1910, marking the Oslovens being occupied by the HPCs. The Oslovens we're also too scared to attack the HPs, considering that no one ever claimed they're island. In 1913, the Khanzem War began. The HPC was badly damaged by the Oslovens and Dolphinans and eventually the Khanzem couped the HPC. The Oslovens became free and they're entire island was free again, except Dolphinas, which Khanzem wouldn't let go. The Oslovens fought against the Khanzem during the Khanzem War to free Dolphinas, and the good side eventually won after the Khanzem fell. Tons of damage was done to Oslovens, however the big wars against the Snowmans started.
The Osloven-Snowman Wars[edit]
The Oslovens weren't ready to fight yet, yet the Snowmen attacked the Oslovens. The Snowmen declared war on The Oslovens. It was trouble for the Oslovens. They couldn't have fought, and the Osloven Empire fell. All territories of the Oslovens we're taken by the Snowmans, including Dolphinas, and the territories we're possesed for 30 years, before the Snowinian Revolution.

Architecture[edit]
Since Dolphinas is an international tourist attraction, the architecture varies in many ways. There is an approximate chance of about 14% that you'll see a regular 1-story house rather than a larger house. Dolphinas also reflects its Snowprus history by having blue tiled roofs and white exteriors. Beach houses would rather have things like pool tables, telescopes, and even 20" paintings. Fountains are common, but are irregular and many types exist like spirals and dragons. Pools are also common sights due to the warm weather and high-paying jobs.
Recreation[edit]
Due to being a city nearby the ocean, aquariums are usually found about 0-1.4 miles from the coastline with many rare and exotic creatures including Mine Crabs, Rainbow Trouts, Electric Eels, and even Manta Rays.
Neighborhoods[edit]
Chensworth[edit]
Chensworth is the largest and most populated of the 3 major neighborhoods in Dolphinas, as of its 2.3 mile-distance from the coastline makes the many hills (some even exceed 40 ft.!) great viewing areas of the ocean and airport nearby. It also has a large train station named "Lofesta Station" on the outer edge which serves as a secondary base for Snotrak Coast Speeder and Ansela Express, which is the fastest fleet of trains in the company exceeding 150 MPH. Over 1.8/5 of the population lives in Chensworth because of the usual 1 degree difference in temperature(either 1 colder or 1 hotter).
Maracaná[edit]
Maracana is a Nutzilian and Lisboagese influenced area that is currently the 2nd largest neighborhood in Dolphinas because of it being not far from the coast at 4 kilometers away. The stadium that the Dolphinas Sky Bullets play in is located here having room for over 84,379 people. Mount Souvilia at 2,342 ft tall is the most renowned monument in the city, named after Joseph Souvilia, a Nutzilian-Antarctican who had reached the summit in 1943. It also has similar architecture to Chensworth and Solvestia due to the common influences of the neighborhoods.
Solvestia[edit]

The usual Ansela Express train stops at Lofesta Station from Winsburg.
Trivia[edit]
- The city was named after an enormous dolphin pod who migrates near the coast every summer.
