Being a kingdom, the Kingdom of Snowiny does not have any presidential elections, but it does have parliamentary elections yearly. The Constitution of the Kingdom of Snowiny gives every Snowinian citizen, no matter what species or gender, the right to vote and participate in elections. In order to participate in the elections, a penguin must be:

1. A penguin who has lived in Snowiny for at least 10 years

2. At least 19 years of age

The parliament in Snowiny is called The Council (The Snowinian Council), and it is unicameral. The Council is an 80-member body. Like said earlier, elections happen yearly to elect 60 out of 80 members of the Council. 30 seats of the parliament are elected through single-member constituencies, while the other 30 members are elected through party-list proportional representation. The remaining 20 members of the Council are appointed by the King of Snowiny (currently Robert Smith).
