Fairly OddPuffles

The Fairly OddPuffles is an American animated television series created by Bob Hartmen for Pengalodeon. The series revolves around the everyday adventures of Tim Curner, a boy who is granted two "fairy godpuffles" named Posco and Pufanda.

The series originated from shorts on the animation showcase, Oh Yeah! Cartoons, airing from 1998 to 2001. It was later picked up as a series due to its popularity. Originally, it ended in 2006 totaling five seasons, but resumed production in 2007. It is produced by Frederator Studios, Pengalodeon Animation Studios and, as of season 6, Billionfold Inc.

Overview

The series centers on Tim Curner, a young boy who is neglected by his parents and tortured by his babysitter, Icky. One day, he is granted two fairy godpuffles, Posco and Pufanda, who grant his every wish to improve his miserable life. However, these wishes inadvertently causing problems that Tim must fix. In the beginning of the series, Tim's babysitter Icky was the main antagonist. As the series progressed, more villains were added. For example, his teacher, Mr. Mocker, firmly believes in fairy godpuffles and has been searching for them a very long time, correctly suspecting that Timmy has fairy godpuffles. He is dangerous to Tim because, according to "La Rules", a large rulebook that defines what children can and cannot wish for and how fairy godpuffles must behave, no one else can know about his fairy godpuffles, or else they will be taken away from him (although he does not remember, Posco and Pufanda were once Mocker's fairy godpuffles, as the rule does not apply to people who currently have their own or once had fairy godparents).

At his school, Tim is often bullied by AaaH!ncis, a vicious boy who claims to be the toughest student in school, but reveals to Tim that he only takes out his anger on him because of his rough home life and abusive parents, proving he is somewhere in-between as a protagonist and an antagonist. Morgen Von Kangle, an enormous and tough Penguin with an Austrian accent, often described like Arnold Schwarzeburger, personally dislikes Tim and his puffles (that he once owned), but often has to assist them in fixing their problems.

Later in the series, Tim wished that Posco and Pufanda would have a baby, whom they later named Pong. More recently, Tim got a pet fairy dog puffle named Fireworks. For every puffle, there is also an anti-puffle. The anti-puffles are similar to the real ones, but with opposite personalities and character traits. For example, Anti-Posco is intelligent and speaks with an English accent while real Posco is dim-witted. Similarly, Anti-Pufanda is also dim-witted and speaks with a Southern American accent while Wanda is intelligent. When Poof was born, his anti-puffle was created. Anti-Poof's name is Gnop (Pong spelled backwards). While Pong is a sphere in body-shape, Gnop is instead shaped like a cube. Gnop's goal in life is to cause mayhem and destroy his nemesis Pong.
