The Civil Aviation Authority of Antartica has absorbed the National Airports Authority. The CAAA will now control all aviation-related projects except for rules, safety, etc.

Commercial air service to New North Etana has been cancelled due to low passenger numbers, by the FAAA Board. All incoming flights have been diverted to mainland airports in Eastshield and the Happyface State.

Explorer 767, the South Pole Council delegate for the Sub-Antarctic has been banned from flying from any major USA or UTR airport, effective immediately

Airspace restrictions implemented over the Metro and Booklin areas of South Pole City, as a result of numerous studies by the FAAA Regional Office at South Pole City-Metropolitan International Airport. This law is effective on December 31st, 2010.
