Showdown is the fifth single to be released and the fifteenth track on Superstar. The song features power pop, a strutting tempo and a catchy beat.
Background[edit]
The song was the sixth track to be released. Cadence and Angie wrote the lyrics for the song together. Meaghan produced it herself. Angie stated: "This song is about women standing up for themselves like a cat, a female cat because that girl has sharp claws and a strong hiss." Ten seconds of the song was leaked in September 9 as a sneak peek but the source became confidential on the Internet and wasn't spread. The song was uploaded to Angie Hillss' official PengTube channel on September 19 2013. It got over 6 thousand views on the same day. She uploaded the music video of Showdown and 24 hours later, it reached 12 million views.
Angie Hills has performed this song several times. At "'The Superstar Tour"', her first outfit was a business woman outfit then at the first chorus, two penguins used a shimmering private screen and Angie comes out with a leaf dress, leaf earrings, her hair loose down with a blue butterfly clip and bare feet. The setting was a forest with squirrel puffles, cat puffles and many other puffles.

I had to say, its a high quality song by Angie Hills. I think its so excellent to have a good pop beat in your songs. She can put animal-themed music into that song - it's cool, right? I heard about this song, I searched it on Pengtube and gave it a thumbs up. Could this song be a hit? Can Angie Hills gain fame for this song? This is the best song I've heard so far.
