This piece of pottery, found at the Legitimate Forts of Margate Central Island, was likely to be brought in by Sherby Hoodwounds traders in the mid-19th century. The pottery is reminiscent of Indian and Sherbian styles. During the mid-19th century, there was a surge in syncretism of cultures as the principality at the time officiated trade between other island states in Weddell and souther Sub-Antarctica.
