A really crap diagram of how Wikia exists in relation to universes. Basically, there are universes connected to Wikia that are managed by it, but there are also universe that are not connected but run independently. A Trans-Dimensional teleport device like the Vortex Manipulator can only teleport inside Wikia. A traveler needs a massive boost of power to achieve the velocity to punch a hole through spacetime and enter a universe outside of Wikia. Kwiksilver and Willy were able to achieve this with the aid of a Bureau of Fiction Teleport Booster powered by the Fourth Wall.
No, dimensions don't actually look like that. It's not like a spider's web at all, but if that helps you then it is.
