Descriptions

Well. A few months ago I read that Macradonia was supposed to be a parody of Macedonia. So, for the heck of it I decided to look at Macedonia's flag, and to me it seemed quite similar. So I figured why not make a flag designed like this some time? So, I did, and this is the result. The only tihnk missing is the M in the center circle(s).

Macradonia's current flag.

The top two flags are recolored Macedonian flags, plain and simple. The bottom two have 300px shaved off of each side, to make the ratio more comparable to Macradonia's current flag, which is 208x160 or something like that- 1400x1000 rather than 2000x1000.

• So, my first question is: Which flag design do you think is best? I personally think the bottom left is the best, since the black background resembles the current flag more in my opinion, as does the ratio.

• My second question is: What font should I use for the M? I haven't experimented with the fonts, but I plan on doing so later. So, do you have a specific font that you think would go well with the flag, or should I try and just write the M like alxeedo (or whoever) did on the original flag?

• My third question is: How should this be incorporated into Macradonia? Should it replace the old flag since it's still similar yet more representative of the parody nation, become a secondary flag behind the original, or not be canon at all? I personally don't care either way, it was fun just to make this, although I personally think it should at least be involved somehow. If not a replacement or secondary flag, maybe it could be the Flag of the King or something.

After I obtain a reasonable amount of thoughts, responses and opinions, I will finish and upload the winning flag on this same file, hence the filename Macradonia Flag 2014. I really dislike uploading so many useless images so I figured it'd be better to save space :P

Maybe do the top right one and insert the M from the old flag into the black circle (though penstubal is right, this parody is more in line with the ancient civilization, not the current FYROM. --User:Swiss Ninja (My Talk Page) 21:46, 18 July 2014 (UTC)

Not every country needs an individual parody

No, THIS is the flag of Macedonia.

If this is an Alexander the Great parody, that should replace all of the countries under his empire.
