Franklin Price Jones, commonly known as Franky, is an Antarctican musician and singer-songwriter from Club Penguin, USA. He is a member of the Penguin Band in which he sings lead vocals and plays the acoustic guitar and keyboard. Franky is the latest addition to the band after joining as its fourth member a year after G Billy, Stompin' Bob and Petey K formed the band. Franky is the most popular member of the Penguin Band, known for his dashing good looks and appealing vocals. Along with the rest of his band members, he released the album The Four Penguins (2010) - the debut album of the Penguin Band. It achieved chart success across the Arctic and was well-received by the public and critics. Four years later, the band released their second album, Cosmic (2014). Franky is often mentioned in the press on a weekly basis due to his relationships and actions in public. Franky was a judge on the reality show Antarctican Idol from 2011-16 (when the series ended).

Background[edit]

Franky started strumming his guitar at age six and soon started playing one man shows for his family. His uncle, who is not much older than him, saw him a invited him to play in his band, the rest is music history. He attended the same school as his sister and they were in the same class. His name was originally Franky Price, which was later changed to Franky Jones on which making Price his middle name.

Solo career[edit]

2017–present: Debut album[edit]

After the release of their fourth album Legacy (2016), Penguin Band went on hiatus in order to focus on their own careers. As a result Franky was signed to Club Penguin Music Records as a solo artist as they believed he could become a star. From 2017, Franky began working with a number of well-known producers to formulate his own style and sound for his debut album, scheduled for release in late 2017.

Franky made his first musical appearance as a solo artist on Meaghan's single "Everyday", released in July 2017 from her album Summercuts. Franky's performance was well-received, particularly for his vocals and chemistry with Meaghan. After this he made a couple more guest appearances before releasing his own debut solo single, "Come On" featuring DJ Crow.
