Freezebro, Inc. (originally Freezenfeld Brothers) is an Antarctican multinational toy and board game company. It is one of the largest toy makers in the world. The corporate headquarters is located in South Pole City, USA. The majority of its products are manufactured in Eastshield.
History[edit]
Back in 1999, when the company was founded by Henry Freezenfeld, Hilal Freezenfeld, and Herman Freezenfeld, the name of it was "Freezenfeld Brothers". In 2000, it was renamed to "Freezebro, Inc." They started out selling textile remnants, then expanded in mid 2000 to produce pencil cases and school supplies. With cost of pencils rising and their pencil supplier making pencil cases, Freezebro began making their own pencils becoming a source of funding for future lines.
In late 2000 Freezebro began producing doctor and nurse kits, its first toys and modeling clay becoming a primarily toy company by 2001. With Hilal's death in January 2001, Henry became CEO, while his son, Merrill Freezenfeld, became president. Freezebro's first toy hit was Mr. French Fry Head, which the company purchased from inventor George Icer in mid 2001. The company became an Icey major license in 2002.
In mid 2002, Henry died and Merrill took over the company. Around that time they produced the G.I. Jack toy, which they termed an action figure to market boys who don't want to play with "dolls". In late 2002, G.I. Jack accounted for 2/3 of Freezebro's sales.
In 2003, the company launched the successful toy line, Transporters, which was developed into a TV show in 2004, starting the launch of the Rub Network. Late 2004, another successful toy line was created, My Little Krabby - which, around a month or two later, was also developed into a TV show entitled "My Little Krabby: Friendship is Destiny", also airing on the Rub Network. These two are the most major and popular toy lines of Freezebro, even though the following years they made more, and also bought many too. As of 2013, Freezebro is still the largest toy making company in the world.
