Hayashi Ghin Kinsuto, otherwise known as Ghin, is an infamous sniper from Munijoch known as The Purple Dragon. Having killed 500 soldiers, insurgents, and civilians in various wars and skirmishes throughout Munijoch's history, it's unknown who's side he fights for. Known for having a black, purple sheen gun with a seemingly cyborg body replacing key parts of him, as well as having a purple eye that stands out against the night sky. He is the distant cousin of Isaac Juggernaut, with whom he holds dear to his heart, despite Isaac's apprehension towards him.

Background[edit]

Early Life[edit]

Ghin was born in Zhou an unknown number of years ago. His father was the brother of Isaac's father, having immigrated to Zhou to teach students the virtues of western culture and civilization. His mother was a famous performer in the country, having been featured in many of Zhou's lavish plays and theater performances. With his father teaching so much, he spent a majority of his time with his mother, watching her contort, twist, and dance to a seemingly unknown beat and song. He decided to make up his own count in sixes, and eventually became infatuated with the number.

When he was 5, his father left them behind to fight in a war, never to return. To this extent, he spent every waking hour with his mother, watching her evermore closely to take his mind off of the death of his father. He mentally copied her graceful movements on the stage, the lights blaring onto her and her outfit, shimmering and illuminating his mind.

Early Teens[edit]

When he was 12, he lost his mother due to a stage light collapsing and crushing her. He was almost driven insane, having to be contained in a cage before being drafted to Munijoch per the request of the WhiteBloods for the impending civil war. While being trained in Zhou, he was given a six-shot revolver with the capability for attachments. Given a long range barrel as well as a sling over which housed 6 larger bullets, he was given a mask to wear as well to hide his identity while on the field of battle. He was given the moniker "Ghin" since it was easier to pronounce over radio and long range communication than his real name.

The final test for his corp would be a sniping and soldier battle, in which only 5 will emerge victorious and will be sent off to war. After getting into position, he prepared to fight, getting shot only once over the course of an hour, but was negated due to his shoulder pad. Just as he was getting ready to snipe a nearby enemy, another sniper shot him through his eye piece from over 2 miles away. Determined not to lose, he went on a rampage, using his good eye to shoot the last 5 enemies straight through their weak spots. As the last one alive, even if by a slim margin, he was given a replacement eye that glowed purple and functioned as a crosshair, healed, and was given a new moniker: "The Purple Dragon."

He was sent as a "special supersoldier" to the WhiteBloods, functioning as a special sniper for them to use to their advantage. During the trip, he wrote various stage performances, mostly involving dragons, a damsel, and a man having to leave them behind for a psychological war between his love and his desire to serve his country.

Late Teens[edit]

By the time he was 18, the training was done and he had arrived in Munijoch, ready to serve. The WhiteBloods, having been successful on a lot of fronts, gave him a simple post near the coastal mountains of Mt. Vespa to ensure the population would not revolt. In addition, several other soldiers were stationed as guard. As he got into position, he pondered over how he can make death itself into a performance, until he realized that drama was the method to doing so.

In a stunning act of betrayal, he mercilessly killed the soldiers surrounding the post and walked off into the city, wounded by returning gunfire, to seek refuge and to be healed. The WhiteBloods set a bounty for him, and he was forced to be in hiding for a while, keeping his sling, barrel, and gun close to him at all times. He often camped in the woods, preferring an isolated life away from the civilian population. When the WhiteBloods won the war, he decided to reintegrate himself into society by renaming himself and his profession as a stage write.

The public quickly gained traction of the dramatic, and often times wise plays made by him, even going as far as to attract the attention of Mark Yslenski himself. When they met, Mark tasked him with creating a play in his honor, to which Ghin reluctantly agreed. He toiled for weeks trying to come up with inspiration for the play, until he made one of a great Shark King toiling away at the fish peasants, until an insurgent group of Walruses took over the ocean from the Shark King, driving him away.

Mark loved the play, even though it was a snarky reference to the methodology of how he acted, looked, and behaved in the eye of Ghin.

2nd Munijoch Civil War[edit]

When the 2nd Civil War broke out, being independent now of anything that bounded him, he took to a lone tower in the middle of a city and decided to play Cat and Mouse. He tortured passing soldiers with bullets grazing their feet, only to eventually snipe them completely. To him, it didn't matter the affiliation, for he got a kick out of their reaction, and it gave him inspiration. The drama unfurling in front of him gave him the necessary kick to make more plays, more action, excitement for his audience. It was a game he never grew bored with, and in the end, helped the insurgents take Munijoch and make it democratic again. Unfortunately, Ghin did not hear the news.

Ghin was one day playing his game when the soldiers noticed him. They shot an RPG at the tower, making him collapse down in front of them and promptly arrested. When he was brought before Isaac, he smiled maniacally and laughed at Isaac, wearing a mask. He asked if he wanted his eye to complete the cyborg look, only for Ghin to realize quickly that Isaac is in fact his cousin. He immediately stopped and began to study Isaac's behavior. Isaac however, was not keen on this.

Isaac looked him dead in the eyes and asked why he was taunting the soldiers with his gun, which was of a technology they hadn't seen before. He smiled and replied with a simple grin, saying that they inspired him. From then, Isaac kept him locked up, where he was kept for a fairly long time, his mask kept in front of his cell as a reminder of the fact that he was still a penguin, not an omnipotent being.

Frosian War[edit]

When the Frosian War broke out, Isaac was facing heavy losses on either front of the war, and had to quickly bring people in to fight for him. He began to pardon prisoners following his seizure of the presidential office. As he reached the final stage of maximum security, he came upon Ghin, determined to continue living in his fantasy. Isaac, bearing his red mantle, came to Ghin with a proposal: fight in the war and walk free, or be forever trapped in prison. Ghin quickly accepted his offer, taking up his mask and gun, being deployed in his standard garments.

Quickly, Ghin saw the opportunity for fun in his old home region. He traveled quickly between multiple areas trying to stay loyal to Isaac's promise, but never fully agreeing to it. He developed psychopathic and sociopath tendencies between his targets, often pretending that they were in a tragic war between their loyalties before sniping them. He quickly gained notoriety among the soldiers on both sides, calling him "The Two Faced Mask." It's rumored he had 1,153 confirmed kills, contributing from both sides.

The nickname Ghin had gained quickly reached Isaac, infuriating him. After the Frosian War, he quickly began a multi-national manhunt for Ghin, resulting in countless deaths at his hands in his quest for freedom. When he was confronted in a dark, trapped room, Ghin merely stated that he did his side, regardless of the soldiers interfering with him, and that Isaac should fulfill his side of the deal. Reluctantly, Isaac allowed Ghin to walk, fearing more casualties from the trapped room.

Present Day[edit]

Ghin commonly wanders around Zhou and other countries, living up to his name of the Purple Dragon. He writes stage plays still, sometimes pitching them under the alias "P.D," and if they get in, oftentimes watches their interpretation of it. Currently, he is wanted in over 10 countries for mass murder and slandering of the military, alongside several desertion charges in Zhou and Munijoch.

Personality[edit]

Ghin has been described as being odd enough to stand out, yet normal enough to blend in to a crowd. He often talks to himself and repeats numbers constantly, almost as if he's orchestrating something. He may spontaneously cackle to himself, oftentimes thinking of a way to snipe someone or something from afar.

He has a keen sense of direction, and knows when to and when not to fight a battle. He is however susceptible to frustration, and may easily give up if an outcome is not clear to him. He often imagines battle like scenery of cherry blossoms and trees sprouting from the people he faces.
