Glaçou Frankterran, known to foreigners as Frankterran Glaw, is a Frankterran Colony acquired during the Great Yowien War. After several gangster wars and a mass hunt and deportation of Old Glowus gangsters, Glaw was renamed to Glaçou and was given the status of an Overseas Départment.

After The Great Yowien War, Glaw was ceded to Frankterre, due to its Frankterran culture. A major problem during the transitions were gangs and gangsters; many of which sparked gangster wars and gang-extermination wars which ravaged the country. After the conflicts died down and the gangsters were deported, the Frankterrans were quick to put Glaw under their control, and way of governing. Under new control, Glowus crime has dropped considerably. Ever since, it has been a quiet and productive colony.
Culture[edit]
Glaçou Frankterran has a very vivid culture, stemming from many different aspects. Things like Telenacles, music, food, clothing, architecture, art, and much more are expressed in the area.
The cuisine in Glaçou Frankterran is mainly inspired by Frankterre. The colony is well known for its many peppers and spices, which was brought by those from other areas of Antarctica. Cajun and Creole food are among the most common types of dishes found in the southern half of the area. Cajun and Creole foods, for example, are foods such as Gumbo, Seafood, Po-boys, Jambalaya. Île du Pufoe is popular for their original pastry called the Beignet, which is much like a donut. Food in Northern Glaçou Frankterre is reminiscent of the Antarctic mainland and Puffica; things like Dumplings, Cornbread, Crayfish, and Mac & Cheese.
Jazz is an extremely popular music in Glaçou Frankterre, and was one of the places where the genre was born. Many penguins travel to Île du Pufoe just to hear the music. Blues is also a type of music which can often be heard in city streets. Classical and Orchestral music is also something somewhat expressed by the more cultured penguins. Country and Redneck music are popular genres in the northern parts of Glaçou Frankterre.
Economy[edit]
Two of Glaçou Frankterran's largest industries are seafood, agriculture, and industrial chemical products. Glaçou has a healthy seafood sector. They produce a vast variety of seafood dishes, mainly crayfish. Agricultural products make up a good portion of Glaçou's economy as well; the colony actively makes cotton, soybeans, rice, sugarcane, and much more. Industrial chemical products produced are mostly petroleum, which is mined off the shores of Glaçou and other nearby areas. Coal products are also a popular industrial product manufactured in the area. Numerous oil refineries and worn-down ports can often be seen along the rivers outside of Île du Pufoe.
Compared to other Frankterran colonies, Glaçou has a generally low personal income. This gets even lower depending on certain races of penguins, or if the receiver is a puffle.
