This bill, Operation: Wore Out, has failed the Wiki's Congress Committee and has been rejected as law. |
Folks, this may be the end of the independence movement. We really didn't have a chance with this move. Our Google rankings are low, our user base microscopic, and our traffic silent.
This means that we may just have to swallow our pride and move back to Wikia. I've already applied for being unbanned. I'm going to be the ambassador from here to Wikia.

I'm banned from Special:Contact and Wikia itself, so I can't contact them. We're not a competitor. We ARE the CPFW. Besides, we never had a shot against you. You have all the Google links and the clout. We might just have to crawl back to you on bended knee and plea your Oasis-based forgiveness.
Yet, we can't all move back. Some of us were banned. Now that Oasis came to pass, we can't really fight. I was banned for good reason... -but that reason has passed. I can't fight what's been done, what is paramount, so to speak.. ...-and certainly, I'm not dumb enough to contest Wikia if I return. I mean, the fight is over. Why are we still banned? At the time, I was unquestionably wrong in my behavior. I behaved badly on Community Central.
However, that does not have to do with the acts I did in other places. This is why I question why I am still banned. Before AWA, I never did anything bad enough to be wiped from Wikia. Now that it seems we might have to crawl back on bended knee, what else can I do? Sannse or (whoever reads this), please help us. I will be the first to offer my apologies for the things I did to you. We might have to move back and plea for forgiveness.
Can I be unbanned so I can be an ambassador from the new CPFW to the old? Thank you for your time.
Now, I know it'd be the ultimate shame, but it may be the only way to hold up this community beyond ten users and sitting in the back of the Internet.
A man has adopted the CPFW, and there's still ways around Oasis. I know how to swap to Monobook by heart, and can teach all of you how to do it too, if you register.
Friends, this is a sad thing to say, but it may be the only thing left.
I guess we're, in the words of Jake Hess... wore out.
It's been a great ride. Ask them to un-ban me, and I can begin being an ambassador. We might have to stagger back to our former masters and hold our hands out for their shackles to be placed upon our wrists... 'cause we're "wore out".
