Help talk:Sysop Senate/Naughty Users Trial

Court House.png This bill, Naughty Users Trial, has failed the Wiki's Congress Committee and has been rejected as law.

No, I am not saying re-open court house. What I'm saying is to give a naughty user a trial.

Example[edit]

User:Bad User

Bad User has swore at several users, spammed the shout box, and vandalized an LQA.

After that, we show evidence, and the judge( someone neutral, like Hat Pop, or someone) would ask defendants and victims come up and share their story. The jury, five random regular users or sysops if needed, will vote, if guilty or innocent.

How someone is brought to trial, will be decided, if this bill is passed.

The judge would be changed every month, and a BOB cannot be a judge. If the trial is about Un-Cp ranting, etc etc, people like DP, TS, HF, Explorer, Trisk, Leader, KZ, and Met cannot participate.

You cannot sue(like the Court House) people.

If the defendant is a Walrus, he would be blocked right away.

And don't go around ranting that if the defendant is innocent, he would return to his old ways, vandals have reformed.

So, what say you? --HappyfaceWantsToTalk 00:32, September 28, 2009 (UTC)

I REPEAT, THIS WILL NOT BE A COURT HOUSE.

Their will be a fair judge, who can eject people from the trial if they create a flame war. Only the jury, the judge, the offender and offended lawyers, and the offended and offender can edit. Anyone else who edits will be rollbacked.

VOTE[edit]

ANYONE CAN VOTE.

For[edit]

Against[edit]

No, it will not. This time, only several users can edit the forum. The users are the jury, the judge, the offended, the offender, and the lawyers. --HappyfaceWantsToTalk 00:37, September 28, 2009 (UTC)
  • not like the court house? yet you put people on trial? sorta like a no-brainer there. and if i was a vandal, i would not care for your court case and just continue to vandalize. if anything it would slow down the process of just hitting the ban button and then alls well that ends well. im not in the mood to rollback around 300+ article edits just to wait about a vote that would take a week estimate.
long story short: banning on the spot is more simple than letting a vandal loose while you're trying to be "democratic". cmon i know you all love democracy but you need to draw the line on it at one point.
