Highway 3, also known as the Western-Interstate Highway, is an highway linking All of the Sub Antarctic's, Antarctic Peninsula's,and Trans-Antarctic's towns and Cities together. The 5 lane highway starts from the Sub-Antarctic Islands and end in South Pole City. The speed limit on the highway is 120 kilometres an hour.

Background[edit]
1 year after Highway 2 opened, both highways were clogged with massive jams. So, the government decided to build a third highway, to be called the Western Antarctican Bypass, meant to serve only the Antarctic Peninsula. However, plans called for a highway not just linking the Antarctic Peninsula, but also the Sub-Antarctic and the Trans-Antarctic together. Construction began in 2008.
