The icePhone is an Internet-connected, multimedia smartphone designed and marketed by Peach. The icePhone dates back to 2007 where the first icePhone was introduced. Like all other Peach products, the icePhone uses iceOS, which is Peach's operating system.

An icePhone has functions such as taking photographs, text messaging, voicemail, playing media, accessing the Internet, e-mailing people, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The penguin interface is built around the device's Flipper-Touch screen - which lacks a physical keyboard, but has a virtual keyboard instead. There are more than 10,000 "apps" to download onto your icePhone from the App Store approved by Peach. There are many varieties of applications, e.g. games, GPS, social networking, films, and many more. The icePhone is the future of mobile phones, as some penguins say. Other people say it's just an icePod Tap with a phone. The icePhone has multiple functions and features, and many penguins say that it is the latest phone with great technology.

There have been seven generations of icePhone hardware, and they have been accompanied by four major released of icePhone OS. The original icePhone was basically an icePod with a phone and an Internet browser. The next model, the icePhone 3G, brought 3G network capabilities and a GPS location. The icePhone 3GS is more complex, which has a higher resolution camera, faster processor and more features. The latest model, the icePhone 4 has two cameras for BeakTime video calling and a higher resolution display. It was released exclusively to celebrities on July 10, 2010 and released worldwide on September 19, 2010.

In the early 2000's, Peach, which at the time only made computers and a few related products began attempting to shift from creating computers and laptops to creating a phone instead, and began gathering the company's best employees to plan the creation of an "icePhone". After a few years spent designing and planning what the new phone would be like, Stevenson Wotnik, the co-founder of Peach, introduced the phone for the first time at Peach's annual conference in Snow Freezecisco in 2007, and was soon released to the public in the United States of Antarctica later that year.

A few months later, in 2008, the icePhone began to be sold in stores in the Free Republics and the Ninja Archipelago countries for the first time, eventually being sold all around Antarctica by the end of 2008. Over the next few years, Peach began releasing new icePhone models as the phones continued to grow in popularity, becoming one of the most common phones around Antarctica. As of 2018, the latest icePhone is currently the icePhone XR, which was released in October 2018. Peach spends millions of dollars each year advertising its phones, which continue to be very popular.

They started to sell the icePhone in July 2007, and it had a huge success. Many famous people like DJ Crow, Cadence and Ninjinian have one and there are rumors that even Mabel has one. Peach announced the IcePhone on January 9, 2007, after months of rumors and speculation. The IcePhones were first sold in the USA on June 29, 2007, though only the USA (and eventually the UnitedTerra in October 2007) released the IcePhone original. Even the Time Agency was impressed. Released on July 11, 2008, the IcePhone 3G supports faster 3G data speeds and assisted GPS. On March 17, 2009, Peach announced version 3.0 of the IcePhone OS operating system for the IcePhone and it released on June 17, 2009. The IcePhone 3GS was announced on June 8, 2009. It was released in the USA, UnitedTerra and on June 19 for Freezeland and other Free Republics. As for independent nations, such as the Rock Union or Puffle'and, it was released on August 12, 2009. The release of the icePhone in Tel Ah Phon was in July 2009. The release of it in FG was April 2010 (due to it being a new country). On June 7, 2010 the icePhone 4 was announced and was released for celebrities on July 10 while being released to the public on September 19, 2010. The icePhone 4 had a better camera and a new design compared to the older models. It also had a new front facing camera for BeakTime with the new redesigned OS 4. On October 14, 2011 the IcePhone 4S was released and was faster than the IcePhone 4 and had an even higher resolution camera with a new virtual voice assistant named Siri. The only problem the IcePhone 4S has is that it has at least a 2 hour battery life while the 4 had 5 hours of battery life. In June 2012 Peach accidentally leaked information about the IcePhone 5 on their website saying "This November we'll come out with something you've been wanting for years". Despite the evidence and suspicion used against them Peach just kept denying though eventually announced the IcePhone 5 on September 17, 2012. The IcePhone 5 then hit famous celebrity penguins and puffles such as Mabel and David2453 the following Friday but didn't hit the public until November 2.

The cost of the icePhone in areas is different though all prices usually vary between 700 and 1000 coins of the area's currency, depending on the availability of the icePhone and how many Peach stores exist inside the country. Below is a list of cost of an icePhone in some, but is not limited to, countries across Antarctica where the icePhone is often used and is very popular.

Commercials and slogans[edit]

There are several commercials transmitted by TBC announcing the icePhone. Also, there are several slogans, which are listed here:

  • Make a cheet and take notes at one touch of a flipper.
  • Calling someone and taking photos? icePhone has it.
  • Do a drawing or access Adventure? Your best option: icePhone.
  • Want to play your favorite game on the go? icePhone has what your looking for.

  • The Chitter app was released in April 2010. It's exclusively from AP&P. However that ended in 2011 when they sold it to Horizon Wireless.
  • There was a Mabel app in development; it was cut 3 hours after the press release, due to the fact that nobody would want to buy an app with Mabel in least, not in a positive way.
  • The icePhone 4S and iceOS 5 featured a new voice command called Firi which replaces Voice Control and BeakOver. Firi was then launched for the Retina display icePad 2 when iceOS 6 came to the device, and Firi came to the icePod Tap 3 upon it's release.
  • The new icePhone 5 and iceOS 6 featured a new Maps app which replaces Boogle Maps and replaces it with their maps. This saw critical reception, as lots and lots of mistakes have occured in the map. Known errors are:
    • Misplaced cities and towns (Polaris was misplaced somewhere near Ciudad Vieja).
    • Black and white views in some areas in satellite mode. For example, Shops Island and Amataria are shown in black and white.
    • Add more!
  • In the newer versions of iceOS (notably iceOS 6), an inbuilt application called "Firi" is shipped with the phones. Firi is a talking personal assistant and can be used to open applications, call others.
    • Local searching and GPS services for Firi are only available in the USA.
