Lü Triad
The Lü Triad (吕家三合会) is the largest criminal organization in Asiapelago. The Triad is headquartered in Honk Gong and Muçao, while also operating in other places..They are responsible for the Doom Weed trade in the Asiapelago and having a monopoly over the gambling industry. The organization is founded by the Lü Family and the current head of the Triad is Lü Haowei.
History[edit]
The Lü Triad is originally founded by an ancestor of Lü Haowei when he was out of a job. He started by gathering his friends in order to collect "protection fees" from vendors. The Lü ancestor promised that the triad won't harm anyone or bring in more cash than they need. But soon, the cash the Triad is bringing in was in excess of buying rice. The Lü ancestor got greedy and corrupted by the Triad he founded. The ancestor murdered all the original members who knew about the oath he swore.
As the Triad got larger, so did the wealth of the Lü family. One of the greatest leader of the Triad was Haowei's grandfather-Uncle Lü. He slowly expanded the organization to other rackets like gambling and alchohol bootlegging into Honk Gong. Uncle Lü eventually opened some casinos in neighboring Muçao and getting rich off it, he retired and passed the position of Dragon Head to Haowei's father. It was Haowei's father who expanded the Triad into the multi-industries organization that it is today. He started buying off politicians in Zhou and got them addicted to Doom Weed. At the peak of his rule, Haowei's father was rumored to control the entire Muçao.
But in the end, the Puffish government who colonized Honk Gong at that time found out about his excessive criminal activities. Haowei's father was convicted of murder, racketeering, illegal gambling, Doom Weed selling, Doom Weed smuggling, Doom Weed manufacturing, bribery and bootlegging charges of over 1 thousand, which is very shocking. At first, the judge decided to sentence him to 2,500 years in prison, however the Triad threatened to start a war with the colonial government. Not wanting to risk lives, the judge sentenced him to be exile to Calada, where he will be under house arrest for the rest of his life. Despite the house arrest, Haowei's father managed to start a branch of the Lü Triad over there, and it is successful to this day.
Because of his son's exile, Uncle Lü continued being the leader of the Triad until 2005, when Uncle Lü handed over the Triad to Lü Haowei. As the new leader, Haowei made his cousin Lü Haoyang his right hand man. Under his reign, the Triad earns piles of money to this day.

There are at least 20 Red Poles in the Triad, high-ranking members of the Triad with their own army of gangsters.
Conspiracy Theory[edit]
One of the most well-known conspiracy is how the Lü Triad managed to evade and got acquitted of the thousands if not millions of criminal charges. Rumors said that the Lü Triad's 2nd Dragon Lord offered the newly established Communist Party of Zhou a deal. The Triad will consolidate the rule of the Communist Party, in exchange for immunity from prosecution. The Triad will also build concentration camps for political prisoners and keep them secret, so that Zhou won't be accused of human rights abuse. They has also silenced critics and murdered countless oppositions.
As an extra measure, in the reign of the 5th Dragon Lord (Haowei himself), the Lü Triad also bribed Director Benny to make sure that they won't be brought to justice and that the Communist Party will rule Zhou for a LONG time.

Despite the seemingly lawless ways the Dragon Lord and his men treat Honk Gong like a playground, there are rules within the Triad.
1)Never betray your fellow brothers.
Punishment:You must stab yourself into the heart with a knife.
2)Never be a rat to the enemies.
Punishment:The rule-book said that the traitor will be punished with being "struck by 9,000 thunder bolts", so we can assume that traitors got strapped to a electrical chair and electrocuted to death.
3)Always take care of a deceased brother's relatives.
Punishment:The Triad won't help you when you need help.
4)Be faithful to the Dragon Lord
Punishment:Decided by the Dragon Lord. Usually death.
5)Never tries to reveal the organization to the public, or non-associates
