Lavender 5 (sometimes stylized as L5), formerly Snowball Eating Plants, is a fast-growing pop and rock band originating from Eastshield. They are signed with Fourth Order Records, and have released three studio albums.
History[edit]
Lavender 5 started off as the small band Snowball Eating Plants in 2004, in the city of Glassyglow, Eastshield. The band was started by Andrew Lavi, Jackie Vanjohnson, Mortimer Sheppard and Oliver Duhealth in Lavi's igloo, and they were all still attending school. The band was named after Snowball Eating Plants, because a girl they all had a crush on had a pet Snowball Eating Plant. The band recorded and released three songs in 2004 and early 2005, to minimal success. So, the band split up.
In December 2006, after the Club Penguin 2006 color vote, the band was refounded by the original four members, and John Patrick. They decided to name themselves Lavender 5 since there were five of them, and they wanted to stand apart from all the newly lime green penguins.
Towards the end of 2009, the band was signed with Fourth Order Records.
Trivia[edit]
- The name and band members are a parody of Maroon 5.
- Though they've tried for years, the band cant get their flippers on Lavender paint to change their penguin colors. They got very close in 2009 on Club Penguin, but didn't succeed.
