Eew.

Lawl is a hateful, wretchedly drawn monstrosity of a penguin whose creation was halted by The One that drew him. The One did this after he was inspired by some commercial advertising a show that the diety-like being loved when he was young.

Due to assorted errors in the bureaucracy, though, Lawl retained full memory of The One's plan for him and his intentional deforming of his appearence. Since he can't attack us, though, he's set his sights on lower beings. Namely, Lawl is the sworn enemy of TurtleShroom's Family and will stop and nothing to destroy them to avenge for his own destruction. Apparently, this is because the One that drew him also created the Joneses. He also has something out for Mayor McFlapp.

The error granted Lawl tremendous Fourth Wall abilities- an estimated Level Six -and actually possesses limited abilities of reality manipulation and black magic.

The One that drew him also released him to the Public Domain. Lawl, being aware of the world beyond, is also ticked off with the fact that his creator won't even claim inntelectual ownership of him.

BOF significance[edit]

Lawl's supernatural origins[edit]

From what can be gathered from Lawl himself, and from what the Board of Fiction of fiction can reveal without being penalized, Lawl is a side-project created by a One that was suffering critical writers' block. Said One had several assorted ideas and had them all sorted out, but he couldn't get the initiative to create them with his almighty power. Whether it was laziness or something else, no one knows. All that is known is that Lawl was a product of the One's boredom.

So, the diefic bieng set about scrawling an intentionally badly drawn penguin to parody something he had seen on an otherwordly television late at night. Apparently, it was a muscial commercial advertising a show the being recalled from his youth with fondness. The song got stuck in his head, and he had to create something to get it out of his head and clear his writers' block.

Disregarding the woe of the creature he was about to bring forth, the One slapped this article together and set Lawl loose on his other works? Why? Apparently, his name is the answer: for the Lulz!

BOF Breakthroughs[edit]

Lawl is unique in that he provides the Board of Fiction's Department of Research an insight to The Ones. The Board of Fiction is almost entirely forbidden to explain the Ones to anyone outside of their group. The rest of the universe, therefore, either speculates or feeds off of what little data there is. This is the first major revelation of how the Ones work since the punishment of poor Haley.

Lawl's references[edit]

Lawl, though, who can and does openly speak of the "crime" the Ones committed on him, has allowed for unprecedented access to the world outside of their own. From Lawl, it has been confirmed that the Ones are bipedal, have televisions, use chalk, markers, pencils, and pens, own paper, operate computers, can sing, and exist.

Lawl's debut image[edit]

Lawl has also shown that the Ones have desks and cameras, and the "magical keyboard" really is a computer keyboard. This was disputed before Lawl, but his first picture provided otherwise. The Ones also have two appendages with ten seperate fingers, including two thumbs. This has led to speculation that the Ones may be some sort of all-powerful human that exists outside of the CPFW space and time. How and why they got there is under research.

Lawl, before entering the universe, was published alongside some sort of picture, apparently the draft of him, giving never before seen clues as to how the Ones exist. The backdrop of Lawl's portrait read "NATIONAL GAURD" and "COMPAQ". BOF researchers are shocked and baffled that a creature as powerful as a One would even need an army of its own kind. This alone has leaded to wild speculation that there are way more than just a handful of them, especially if they need an army.

In-universe[edit]

Lawl, in-universe.

In-universe[edit]

Lawl's in-universe background is as lazy as the picture of him. He just appeared out of nowhere and retained all the knowledge of the Fourth Wall and his creation. The One purposely kept this in him for sake of parody. That's it.

Involvement[edit]

Lawl is the sworn enemy of the Jones Family, just as are Winky and Briana. He is bent on getting rid of all of them to avenge the injustice he sees himself as. The BOF suggests that Lawl's creator also made them, so it'd make sense to want to take them out. He also wants to attack the Bureau of Fiction.

So far, though, Lawl's plans have had little success, but he certainly vows not to give up.

Song[edit]

Amazingly, Lawl is an incredible singer, and, when anyone asks what he is, he will sing this catchy little number, ripped off of the very villain he was parodied off of.

Melody

Woe is me, can't you see?
What the Ones have done to me?

They made my, deformities,
For their fun and parody!

You see the Ones up yonder all made you cool with their
Keys of doom!
Keys of doom!

Yet when they did make me
They made a parody
OF SOME FAT BLOBBY THING!

You think that's bad? THAT'S NOT ALL!
There's no copyright on Lawl!

Yes indeed, I'm P.D.,
I'll AVENGE their deeds!

Trivia[edit]

  • This is a parody of the Scrawl character, from the ancient and short-running Nickelodeon series called Chalk Zone. No one on this site will know what this is, of course.
  • Coupled with Winky and Briana, Lawl is the main villain to the safety of TurtleShroom's Family.
  • The One that made him must have quite a strange sense of humor to do this to one of his creations.
  • Lawl talks in Typewriter Coding (<tt></tt>), like this.
