Lil Daniel' is the fourth episode of Snowy Falls an is where the first story arc starts.
Plot[edit]
The episode begins with Jake, Cora, and Deuce watching their favorite show on TV, Polar Bear Fist, and then a commercial comes on for a psychic named Lil' Daniel. The three are impressed and want to go, but John comes in telling them not to since Daniel is his rival, but they go ahead anyways. Lil' Daniel sings a song at his show, singing obvious stuff and pretending he is reading people's minds, even though they are in plain sight, like Cora's name on her sweater.
When Daniel overhears them talking about him being a bigger fraud than John, he goes over to the Mystery Igloo and invites Cora to his dressing room and gives her a makeover, and soon ends up asking her on a date. He promises it will just be one date, but then he asks her to a ballroom dance on Thursday and everyone seems to want Cora to do it, and even after the ballroom dance they end up in a boat of romance (rowed by McBucket) and fireworks shaped in hearts.
Cora admits to Jake that she isn't able to say no to Daniel, and so Jake goes up to Daniel at the place they were supposed to date next and tells him that Cora doesn't want to see him anymore, but Daniel misinterprets this as Jake turning her against him. Daniel makes the news reporter of The Snowy Falls Newsperson give Jake an address in exchange for his crush's phone number, and he tricks Jake into his trap and reveals his bowtie is really an amulet, and he nearly kills Jake but Cora manages to show up at the right time.
Cora tricks Daniel into giving her the chance to steal his amulet and throws it to Jake, but Daniel jumps at him and they fall through the window and off a cliff, dropping the amulet on the floor of the warehouse, and Cora uses it to save their lives and destroys the amulet. Daniel tells them he will be back and he threatens to destroy the Mystery Igloo. In the end, Jake, Cora, and John bond over their hatred of Daniel and get back together as a family. We then see that Daniel owns a journal looking similar to Jake's, but with a number 2 on it...
