The Melodeevian Civil War of '84 was a civil war that happened in the Melodeeves. In 1984, the Melodeeves declared independence as the Republic of Melodeeves, but, the republic was fastly killed by communists, who then turned it into a communist start in 1985.
Prologue: North and South[edit]
As we all know, the communists were on the northern part of the island, and the population not if favour for the communists on the south. The communists began by conquering the north part of the island, as it was easier to get the most, except for Palé, which still maintained as a capital. The southern part's military was weak, very weak, so they eventually asked for help. No one really responded to their help calls, and they had to train more military. All male penguins over 18 were sent to the military. Women and children were not.
Chapter 1: Conquering Palé[edit]
The republican forces tried to hold the communists back at Palé, and also, at the border of the unofficial Communist Republic of Melodeeves. But the communist forces were bigger than the republicans' forces, and they managed to conquer a lot of land on sea, thanks to the republicans only having a few warships. It became harder and harder for republicans to defend the Melodeeves, until the really southern part surrendered and became a part of the Communist Republic. The republicans were angry, because they had lost the second biggest city in the Melodeeves, but that wasn't the biggest case. The Communist Republic's border had almost reached Palé, and the Melodeevian forces were trying to hold it back. Since all forces were called to Palé, they didn't get a chance to guard all else land, which was then conquered by the communists. The last of Republic of Melodeeves disappeared at the beach of Palé.
Chapter 2: New Government[edit]
The old republican government stepped down in 1986, which was when the communists gained full rule over the nation and could do whatever they wanted to. The government was abolished, only leaving the leader and a few of his assistants in the "government". The government house in Palé was destroyed, and housing for people was built instead.
