Munijoch, or as officially known, The Republic of Munijoch, (pronounced MEW-nee-yock OR MEW-nee-jock) is a large, relatively calm country in the Northern Antarctic. Up until 2013, it has been under communist rule. However, with changes from within the power, it gradually went into a state much like a federated republic. This, however, was not officially declared until June 2nd, 2013, when the reigning WhiteBloods were finally usurped of their power and subsequently replaced by the Malkov Reformists, the opposing force that wanted democracy. At a population of roughly 35,000,000 citizens, in total, the country has learned to make use of the space it has by opening up underground societies and high skyscrapers in the cities, often housing thousands of apartments. Their motto is Sociatis a communi ordine and their national anthem is Clash of Destiny.
Colonized by natives thousands of years ago, but explored only as recent as the 1800's when Eric Slavistoski went north into the Unknown Regions in search of a faster route to the Ninja Archipelago, Munijoch is relatively young when compared to other countries that have existed and were recognized before it. Despite his discovery, it only declared it's existence in 1910 following the WhiteBlood takeover, yet few properly recognized it due to the turbulent nature of the region at the time. While the society was mostly communist, the WhiteBloods believed in efficiency, establishing a large, everlasting infrastructure of railways, roads, and separate street levels in cities for trucks to deliver goods that still functions quite efficiently to this day, despite its age. Population growth and immigration allowed the population to swell up even more with the promise of jobs and a "stable government," marketed by the WhiteBloods are more secure than a turbulent democracy with ever-changing leadership. Thanks however to revolutionary leaders Victor Malkov and Joseph Yslenski, the country broke free in 2013 and reestablished itself as a democracy again, allowing the country to see the true virtues of what the democratic process can bring. As they were the leaders of the revolution, Victor Malkov and Joseph both served terms, however, Victor was ousted by Joseph due to revelations of internal corruption by the WhiteBloods, and Joseph served three years before retiring. On August 21st, 2016, The Globalist was elected as the country's new leader.
The economy of Munijoch is dominated by a very strong Information Technology industry, trading to many nations throughout the region, including the Axle Powers members like Ed Island or other countries such as the Finipines. While they are not part of SABER, they partake in heavy trade, including wood, oil, coal, natural gas, weaponry, and depleted Uranium, as well as enriched Uranium to Shops Island specifically for their program, since they do not have a huge need for it at the moment, other than select uses in PULSE for classified weaponry.
While Munijoch does not support nuclear proliferation or utilizing nuclear material, in part due to the disaster at Hudson City in 2001, they are cautiously working towards experimenting with not only the weaponization of the nuclear material, but also the experimentation of cleaner alternative fuel sources through the use of nuclear reactor technology. This is primarily in order to conduct research in effective radiation shielding for electronics and other materials in the case of a nuclear war or an improvised explosive. In addition, they also possess a sub-light star system cruise drive, which they use primarily in their space program.
A member of The Axle Powers, The Zeta Connections, and The M Triumvirate, Munijoch itself existed for thousands of years, but has only recently began to express itself in Antarctic politics, becoming a country officially in 2013. Despite it's young age, it's quickly rising to become a formidable player on the global stage, boasting many opportunities for immigrants, such as government assistance for education, jobs, and welfare. It's one of the most technologically advanced countries in Antarctica, and boasts many groundbreaking scientific achievements in multiple fields. As a result, Munijoch has become a hot spot for research and development. Munijoch currently seeks to engage in diplomatic unities and trade deals in an effort to begin the globalization of Munijoch's intelligence and technological goods, already highly sought after in countries such as the United States of Antarctica, who recently partnered with defense company SnoBoll to create an adaptive defense system to modernize their defenses.

Munijoch is from the native's Munisian language: 'muni' meaning "as one," 'joch' being "we stand." Up until 2013, the communist government made the citizens believe it meant "the WhiteBlood must rule," however, recent lingual history findings in many old and forgotten libraries that existed before the making of Munijoch say that it meant above. This did not stop the WhiteBlood's cause, however, and to this day, they still believe it means "the WhiteBlood must rule."
In late August 1888, soon-to-be founder of Munijoch Eric Slavistoski, landed on the coast of Munijoch and wandered into the woods. Soon, he met an old sage, named Haseca Munijoch, the leader of the local tribe. He told him that it was his destiny to found a free, independent, and sovereign state, to be named whatever he desires. For the next 2 months, Eric spent his time looking around Munijoch, walking what is now known as the Great Hunt Trail. While on this trail, he noted many geological features and spectacular fields filled with flowers as far as the eye can see. In small, isolated patches of forest, fruits even grew in bountiful harvests.
Declaring with utmost joy, he stuck a pole into the ground, soon to be the foundation of the City of Progress, and ventured back to where he came, only to find that the sage was not there. In disbelief, he looked around for clues, only finding the path of a Grizzly Bear paw print, walking into the fireplace. Mystified, he said to himself that he will call the country after the tribe leader he met 2 months ago.
Munijoch, being an island, is oddly land-locked like, with many mountain and valleys, as well as basins, some of which are filled with water. A fjord is located on the eastern side of the island, nearby Mt. Vespa City. The mountains and rolling hills are covered with red flowers, about the color of Munijoch's flag. Daisies and Tulips are also common, those of which gain Munijoch's white and yellow star.
Much of the land is covered in lakes or bodies of water. Beaches are commonly found in the south, as well as a cove to the north, only opening when it's warmer in the year. Dense forests are found in the north or central area of Munijoch, populated with Grizzly Bears or other creatures, and are used for paint ball tournaments during the winter. A volcano is semi-active on the island, causing it to be warmer than most other nations in the north during the year due to it's magma chamber heating the ground to a toasty 70 degrees in the summer, and cooling to a 20 to -10 degree low in the winter. That same volcano produces Munijoch's massive underground lava lake, which can be toured via a cave system and ropes. It has been suggested that Zescore, Munijoch's offshore colony, and Munijoch were once a cohesive landmass, called Munian Majora, with Zescore being a tall mountain range from said landmass prior to getting submerged underwater. To the west of Zescore, a submerged lava field caused by fission eruptions and ancient lava flow dominates the seabed.
To the east, in proximity to the fjord, an inactive fault is accented by seismic upheaval in the form of mountain ranges, primarily made of metamorphic rock, placed in layers dating back at least two million years. These form the Vespa Mountain Ranges, and is one of the only mountainous features to not be volcanic in nature besides the Zescorean Mountain Ranges.
The history of Munijoch is long and turbulent, dotted with numerous battles and skirmishes that have seen it transfer leadership numerous times. The island itself, however, is the center of a mystery as old as the world itself.
It's been theorized by numerous scientists that The Infinite Engine is not native to this world, and was most likely planted by an extraterrestrial civilization sometime between 20,000 and 10,000 years ago. Geological records indicate that at that time, a massive explosion took place, vaporizing surrounding islands and leaving Munijoch torn asunder on the southeastern coastline, creating Zescore and it's jagged mountains. In addition, fossils around Munijoch's coast indicate that plants were present, meaning that at that time, they were receiving seeds from other land masses via wind. However, after the explosion, when ancient Penguins went to investigate, they were promptly killed by a sudden jolt of electricity striking from the water onto their crude ship.
For at least 5,000 years, Munijoch was enveloped in an artificially produced force field, trapping anything in it and eventually developing it's own climate separate from the world. Rather than grow cold and freeze over during the winter months, the country instead became warm, lush and habitable compared to the rest of the region. Plants grew like wild during that period, enveloping the entire island in a thick canopy. Scientists theorize that during this time, the growth caused the engine to be disrupted and weaken it's field, resulting in a lower energy output and allowing Munijoch to be traversed for the first time in about 5,000 years.
About 1,000 years later, the first penguins came to the island, bearing animals and primitive stone weaponry. They released these animals into the wild and instead adopted an omnivore diet consisting of the native fruit and whatever animal they could hunt. They primarily came from the southwest from mainland Antarctica, and had made primarily wooden huts with leaves on there. The tools they used were either stone or wood based, with iron tools rare and only procured if they burned iron-eating bacteria. These tools were often reserved for the tribe's leader, or were made into rudimentary beads. When they found out the durability of iron tools 400 years later, they switched to that and began to mine the nearby mountainside and caverns for more iron. 50 years afterwards, the first stone-based home was carved into a mountainside, and masonry became a common pastime.
In the year 3,000 BC, the natives had discovered the Infinite Engine, as well as the crystals placed on them, seemingly corroded and unable to provide power. The crystals themselves, however, were able to give off an electric charge and shocked many natives that came too close to it. Chieftains were quick to cut chunks off the crystals to use them as gemstones for staves. When they did, however, an explosion rocked the island, destroying almost half of the population from the resulting shock wave. The population, shattered and unable to rebound, eventually shrunk down to a few people in 2,000 BC, until they completely died off. For around 2,000 years, the island was, once again, uninhabited, and the fauna began to grow back, eventually removing traces of the natives.
In the year 123, a group of High Penguins flocked to the north of Antarctica looking to expand their territory. They discovered the island chain of Zescore and settled there. Their customs and traditions eventually left behind the tale of several mythological beings, known as the Hondir Penguins, beings with super strength and powers corresponding to their personality and traits. For around 100 years, they prospered, and ruins of their cities could be seen in the jungle to this day. However, a mysterious force also eradicated them, leaving the survivors to flock to the main island of Munijoch to avoid persecution. In 300 AD, the last of the Zescorian High Penguins had died off, while the rest fled to Munijoch.
In 500 AD, the penguins, now to be referred to as natives, settled in what is now Rio de Vatica, creating a massive temple in an attempt to contact the Frozantium Empire, wanting them to come and provide resources. By now, the last of the High Penguins died out, and the tales of a mainland all but became legends of a land far beyond their capability of travel. The city eventually became elaborate, with markets, alleyways, and neighborhoods efficiently and quickly constructed with stone quarried from nearby mountain sides and stone pits. They ground herbs up and began to use it as paint for the city. Since an abundance of rose, daffodils, and daisies were on the island, the colors of the tribe became red, yellow, and white.
To better make use of the island's resources, they took copper and milled it out to create quartz and copper jewelry, believed to be spiritually binding and allowing for better atonement to one's surrounding. Through the arts of the High Penguins, however, they discovered that the Infinite Engine was interfering with the energy from the island. To this extent, the natives moved the engine, carefully, to a cave within an active volcano, hoping to quell the engine's desire for power. Instead of destroying the engine, however, the volcano stopped erupting, creating a simple magma pool underneath Munijoch that exists to this day. This magma pool heats Munijoch and prevents snow from accumulating in large amounts.
Over the course of about 100 to 200 years, the tribe began to expand past the boundaries of Rio de Vatica, and instead traveled across the countryside to establish new cities, such as ones in the Vespa Mountain Chain and the Southern Coast. Gravel and sand roads allowed for wagons to be hauled across the country with relative ease, and by the year 1000, the island had roads stretching across the entirety of it. As a result, the tribe's leader decided to unify the country under one banner, and called his new land Munijoch. He created a flag based on a blood red moon and a yellow and white star, with a red background, indicating the prosperity of the country that is to come under his leadership. For 50 years after, the cities became more elaborate, and the natives began exploring new methods of reusing old materials to prevent waste from accumulating across the new country.
By establishing the recycling program, Munijoch began to transition to a cleaner future. Now, a majority of objects were built using old materials, such as compost, or building supports.
About one thousand years have passed since the next major event in recorded history for the country. During that time, it's hypothesized they began using steel to build structures, as well as glass. The basis of the City of Progress began to take shape, and some modern day buildings have begun construction. Munijoch currently recycles around 55% of it's waste, making it very clean by today's standards. In the 1800's, routes to Calada were being investigated by multiple governments, including a cartographer known as Eric Slavistoski. His idea was to sail north until he hit Calada, and therefore, find a new trade route for the USA to use. He set sail for about a month until he happened upon a rocky isle with various stone buildings on them. Going through the strait, he found a complex city similar to the ones back home.
He landed on the island and met the people, curiously like him. He recognized that they had the same language as him almost, and their architecture was extremely advanced for a civilization cut off from the world. After learning of the island's name, Munijoch, Eric went back home, supposedly to bring news of the newly discovered island. When he returned a month later, with more ships, the entire city came up to the port to see his arrival, confident of his ability to forge an alliance.
Instead, he roused an army together and vanquished the natives from the island with their advanced weaponry. When the remaining population dwindled and subsequently retreated to the forest, he took the island for himself and declared it his.
Following his capture of the island, he invited more people to arrive onto the island. One of those people was Harrison June, a radical who had differing ideas as to how a country should be put together, along with around 100,000 different people over the course of 50 years whom arrived onto the island. During this time, Eric greatly modernized the city, utilizing paved roads, proper steel structures, and furthering the green lifestyle the natives had. He adopting their cultures slightly, including the fashion accessories they wore, and allowed the population to purchase them in droves. They were beginning to amass a sizable wealth, and decided to use a system known as "Grams" to regulate their currency, that being in grams of gold.
In 1901, the country began to create a highway system that stretched across the island to better connect the cities and infrastructure together. Harrison June, seeing an opportunity, preached his ideas to the cities he traveled to along the road system, converting the populace to an idea of totalitarianism, hate, and unified rule. He called this political group the WhiteBloods, and implored them to take action against the current government of Eric Slavistoski.
First Munijoch Civil War
On October 1st, 1908, the WhiteBloods movement, recently established by Harrison June, began leading attacks on major government buildings and cities, often times destroying them beyond repair and displacing thousands. Since weapons were not in common use at the time, the citizens were helpless as they stormed their homes and ransacked their homes. This led to Eric Slavistoski leading a movement to destroy them and others, often times denying entry to citizens out of fear that they were WhiteBlood sleeper agents. This led to the First Munijoch Civil War, in which the WhiteBlood movement were to battle Eric Slavistoski for control of the country and the citizens. During this time, Eric created an elite guard of 25 citizens and armed them with the native's weapons, called "C'huatals," or spinning axes. In all, these guards killed over 1,000 WhiteBlood agents over 2 years.
In 1910, an unsuspecting citizen was allowed to enter Eric's home and relay information. While he was there, he gave the signal for a guard to open a window to "let fresh air in." A minute later, a WhiteBlood agent shot a blowdart laced with cyanide to Eric's heart, instantly killing him. The guards took position to fend off any other attackers, and killed about 100 before they were overrun by both brute force and fire. That same day, Harrison June gave a speech declaring himself Munijoch's de facto President, and ordering all citizens to lay down their weapons to the WhiteBlood government, thus officially ending the First Munijoch Civil War.
The Dark Times
Following the rise of WhiteBlood leadership, June was ousted and a new leader took his place. The WhiteBloods kept the environmentally efficient scheme going, but greatly sought to use more of the resources available to them. To that end, they cut down the trees on the island to build more infrastructure, eventually ditching wood for concrete and iron. They converted the sea water into salt and drinking water during times of peak use by using the Infinite Engine, now being studies by scientists. The City of Progress was being built as well, with the original concept being a gigantic skyscraper with smaller ones around it in a circular formation, effectively a rudimentary sundial. This shifted into an ambitious project that took 50 years to complete.
Most of the population were required to either participate in society or to enlist in the army or Exploratory Corps. to further explore the island. Those that didn't were either killed or put into forced labor camps. The output of production skyrocketed in the city and it expanded dramatically to unprecedented levels. As a result, the government needed to find a way to distribute the products in a manner that would meet the supply levels without inducing artificial inflation for the product.
The Great Munijoch Migration
On September 17th, 1945, the WhiteBlood government sent pamphlets flying out of planes of the promises that Munijoch holds. The pamphlet discussed of rich landscapes, affordable housing, ample food supplies, as well as stability and security in times of unease throughout the region. Within the span of 20 years, 20 million people moved to the country, overflowing it to 60 million. The government immediately knew something had to be done to control the sudden population growth, and recognized that it was a fatal error to spread so many pamphlets. Starting in 1965 and ending in 2010, the government planned to conduct mass-scale kidnapping and deportations of about half a million labor camp detainees a year, lowering that number in times of war or low population growth. To spur more control, the government limited the amount of chicks born in a certain number each year. The mainland was more than happy however to obtain more citizens, and took back over 15 million in that time, lowering the effective number down to a more manageable 45 million by 2010.
Second Munijoch Civil War
In October of 1971, a new leader was elected and opted to heavily militarize the country with guards and watch posts stationed around key population areas. The citizens, disgruntled but dared to not speak against the government, did not mind and instead opted to simply move on in life. When the leader began to heavily survey their life, however, the population grew restless and sought to overthrow him. Using nothing but stolen vehicles, guns, and artifact weaponry, the population brutally overthrew the guards and ransacked the cities until the leader was forced to take refuge in the newly completed Upper Spire. There, he gave the order to the guards to battle them until they were no more. They charged on them, dawning electrified batons and assault rifles, pushing them away from the building the leader occupied and either killed or arrested.
Later that year, he passed the Reconstruction Act, pledging resources toward rebuilding Munijoch into a modern state, starting with the City of Progress and extending to the military and beyond. The goal was to be the golden standard of clean energy and environmental activism throughout the world, while maintaining the status quo of the WhiteBlood government.
In 1982, Mark Yslenski was named the leader, and immediately changed the title to Omnipotent Blood. Then, he ordered the rapid modernization of Munijoch by funding direct scientific research for the government. Within a span of 20 years, Munijoch began to look much like it does today. They were able to harness the power of Earth's magnetic field to produce powerful weaponry and power sources using the ions trapped within it, known as the ElectroPulse Project. Renewable resources, such as a solar and wind farm, were placed around the city until consumption of fossil fuels was almost down to none. Buildings were ordered to be chemically stable in the case of an environmental disaster so that they could simply be buried and left to degrade back to the materials used to make it. Cities were tasked with reconstruction to create two layer traffic lanes, the top layer being for commuting, while the bottom is for cargo and supply runs.
For the military, PULSE and Mercy were founded to form the basis of the new military by making high tech products to replace the now 35 year old weaponry produced during the years of WhiteBlood rule. Mark ordered that the Infinite Engine be studied for potential uses for defensive capabilities or weaponry. A major draft began for the military to introduce Munijoch onto the global stage as a powerful and rich isolationist country with the means of being a power player. Countries such as Zhou backed them in exchange for Munijoch endorsing their UAN proposals and fighting alongside them. In addition to the bolstering of the military, the Infinite Engine was found to be made up of a certain type of magic, known as Runes, that correlate to symbols found throughout the island. To further study and compile this work, SI:9, the intelligent organization, took it upon themselves to further study and find methods to wield that magic artificially. They sought out more information, finding that with the Nightwardens, who had existed primarily under the radar of Munian intelligence due to that same magic. In exchange for continuing their operation as guardians of powerful artifacts, the Nightwardens were to allow the usage of their artifacts for both experimentation and study by SI:9. Around this time, the Alphabet Squadron was formed, likely due to the partnership with the Nightwardens, consisting of 26 subjects who unwittingly became brainwashed, enhanced, and sent on intelligence missions.
Third Munijoch Civil War
In 2000, Joseph Yslenski, a soldier, witnessed his mother and father being dragged away by high ranking WhiteBlood officials. Thinking that they were to be executed, he revolted against his superiors and amassed a small militia to fight back against the corrupt and anti-democratic government. Among his member base was Victor Malkov, his mentor and closest friend. They went from base to base, using Victor's magical tact and Joseph's strength against them and assembling a small army. Six months later, they gained a foothold within Mt. Vespa City. Eventually, their movement caught on and a couple thousand soldiers began to join their cause, assassinating target officials and letting the main army head in and conquer them.
Joseph and Victor established Squadron E later that year for higher priority missions. The group was exceedingly lethal in their methods for taking out the targets, but they were successful nonetheless. Over the course of five years, the army pushed their front to the edge of Mt. Graxxar, amassing more and more members. They called their army the "Free Republic of Munijoch," and eventually the WhiteBloods ordered the dissolution of Munijoch into the "WhiteBlood state." They began to descend down into a spiral of guerrilla warfare, using radical methods to defeat the rebellion. After 12 years of fighting, they breached the City of Progress fortifications and invaded the Upper Spire, forcing Mark to retreat. On July 23rd, 2013, Munijoch was finally free from the iron grasps of the WhiteBlood, effectively ending the civil war.
Victor was immediately voted President and was tasked with the reconstruction of the country following the bloodiest civil war ever fought. He immediately enacted the Fresh Start Bill, which put state and emergency resources toward the reconstruction of the country. The task given to him was to create a new society with environmental friendliness in mind. He gave grants to researchers to develop more environmentally friendly materials and ordered the complete modernization of Munijoch's infrastructure, such as lights and other material. Roads were fitted with solar panels and the Upper Spire was to be gigantic solar panel feeding to a central power converter underneath the entrance to the spire. The upper spire was retrofitted with cool white reflective steel, and light blue LED lighting was instilled across government buildings. Rio de Vatica, Centrallica, and Mt. Vespa City soon followed suit.
Within a month, Munijoch was already showing signs of improvement. However, things took a turn for the worse when Victor was tried and accused of corruption. Fearing imprisonment, he burned the courthouse with his dark magic and fled elsewhere, feeling betrayed. He later rendezvoused with Mark, pledging his allegiance to him.
Current Era Munijoch
Following Victor's escape, Joseph Yslenski was elected President. Along with being the only President with a wife, Joseph enacted several laws that brought Munijoch to a respectable power as a nation. He ordered the final completion and overhaul of the Upper Spire as well as all major cities, along with increasing the military budget. The military quickly ballooned to five million members, increasing Munijoch's scale of power on the world's playing field. He brought Munijoch into the UAN per the recommendation of Shops Island, and forged an importance alliance with the industrious nation. Later on, Shops Island invited Munijoch to become a member of a military and economic alliance known as the Axle Powers, combining the might of Munijoch, Shops Island, Ed Island, and Culldrome Isles. Following the membership, the military and economic might of Munijoch soared even more to greater heights, solidifying Munijoch's place as a major power.
Months after joining the Powers, they were dragged into Antarctica's bloodiest wars: the Frosian War. Military might from the powers and other countries fought for control of the Frosian Islands, and Munijoch saw itself in the midst of a possible fourth civil war due to the insurgency of WhiteBlood terrorists. During the war, Joseph was kidnapped and in his place, Isaac Juggernaut took his place. Respected for his powerful political stances and extreme militaristic point of view, Isaac quickly increased military spending and size, boosting the troops to six million for wartime stability and mitigated the extra million back to Munijoch to fight against the WhiteBloods.
The insurgency lasted almost for the length of the Frosian War, only ending when The Globalist launched a DRONE strike against their base of operations, killing everyone within a 15 mile radius with PULSE Bomb collateral damage. With the WhiteBloods weakened, and Victor once again vanquished by Joseph, they were forced to retreat into their heavily fortified mountain base, thus ending the insurgency and relinquishing control back to Isaac.
Heavily damaged and facing a great cost to recover, Isaac stubbornly turned down Shop Island's recovery aid, stating that they were strong enough to recover on their own. A short while later, however, Isaac was ousted, and Joseph was restored back into the presidency. Following up on Isaac's rhetoric, Joseph passed the Jumpstart Bill, a bill diverting half of the education budget into Space and recovery efforts to rebuild Munijoch. The country recovered, and 3 months later, Munijoch was successfully able to dip their feet into the space race, along with emerging even stronger and united than before. The Munijoch Galactic Association was founded, further propelling their power with the construction of the MJ Dark Angel and multiple ships, such as the MJ SOL and LUNA fleet ships.
In May of 2016, Joseph announced that he would be retiring from office citing that it's time for someone else to lead. He recommended The Globalist, a war hero and friend of Joseph's. The elections proved to be successful for the Globalist, and he became President in September of 2016. He said that soon the world will be united under Munijoch's banner, "be it by peace or annihilation." This drew ire from the international community for his imperialistic beliefs. He rebutted by saying that imperialism has the word "imp" for a reason. Meanwhile, PULSE has discovered the quasi-dimensional properties of both natural and artificially produced Verium, creating anti-gravity and spatial displacing bombs, one of the first in the world.
Today, scandals erupt in the nation due to the Gold Bug Society's recent publicity in part thanks to The Globalist's membership, alongside various other leaders from both Munijoch and Antarctica, as well as their odds against magic. The military has begun testing of an implosion bomb based on Verium, as well as experimenting with ion engines to replace aging PULSE rocket engines. Munijoch has begun to also step into Amatarian politics in an effort to expand their influence in the world, as well as announcing historical talks with long time rival Margate on a possible full scale alliance with Magonia similar to other groups, like the Axle Powers. The government has had to repeatedly quell uprisings in the Mt. Vespa region due to the resurgence of an old organization known as the Knights of the Broken Blade, who have been amassing an army.
The SI:9, Munijoch's intelligence agency, have recently participated in several international operations, including one relating to the capture of one their own agents, along with others. Public conspiracies are awry as to their intentions, true purpose, and potential goals, yet these are quickly silenced by the agency. Internally, concerns grow as to whether or not SI:9 plans to go rogue and launch their own spaceship, the Black Octagon, into orbit. The revelation of that project's worksite, Zero Sector, prompted many to also question Munijoch's willingness to inform countries of their true technological prowess. Likewise, the agency has been trying to put out fires all around the world due to technology and agents going rogue.
In 2013, the island was given a geological survey pertaining to the concentration of minerals on the island, such as iron, gold, and copper. It was shown that the island is rich in all three of the elements, along with other fuel sources such as coal, oil, and natural gas, along with various minerals needed for production of iron, steel, titanium alloys, and other valuable metals needed for industrial purposes in Munijoch's various industries. One such example of this is Gallium's metallurgic creation: Munijoch steel. While the exact contents are unknown, the metal is one of the strongest in the world, and is found predominantly in military craft, PULSE mechanisms, as well as various structural architecture, both residential and industrial. In addition, Munijoch is extremely rich in other forms of resources, such as raw stone, quartz, untapped hydrogen reserves, etc.
Perhaps the most famous commercial resource out of any is the water that Munijoch exports, which contains a special blend of minerals and ions that naturally occur in wells, springs, and lakes on the island due to the proximity to lava reserves that allow these minerals to seep through subterranean vents where the water comes from. Studies shown that Munijoch residents are 40% more capable of a disaster/sport event then most others, due to the mineral water. This has also caused the crops to be extremely nutritious, some areas in the mainland having crops go well above $100 a pound, however in Munijoch, it goes for the normal price.
Munijoch does not outsource jobs- all businesses conduct business within it, believing strongly in mercantilism. They are strongly capitalist, and believe in an open-market society, limited to placement of work, however. Every Munijoch resident has a right to a job, age not limiting anything. This ideological viewpoint has allowed the economy to prosper and expand.
The treasury department mints bills and coins for the grams, up to $1,000 grams, however, they are trying to move everyone to a chip and pin based card system to maximize efficiency in banks and store transactions. In the case of a total collapse of the financial system, all money is stored in a cryptocurrency known as "M-Coin," replicating the amount each person has and follows the Gram's curve in the global market for backup purposes. The average GDP per capita is $75,150 Polarian Dollars.
The current Economic Minister, David Pyke, has gathered controversy for being a former stock broker and market wolf. However, he has been responsible for most of the economic policies in the country, successfully increasing the GDP at an almost constant rate thanks to revolutionary tax calculations influenced by artificial intelligence. He was also the mastermind behind selling unnecessary or useless resources to other countries as opposed to stockpiling them. His team was also responsible for economic talks between several countries in the interest of trade, economic development, and stimulating economies.
- PULSE: Manufacturer of high tech military goods, heavily invested and controlled by the government.
- DRONE: Manufacturer of autonomous military weaponry and planes, branch of PULSE.
- Gallium: Metal company that created Munijoch Steel, pioneer of metallurgy. PULSE has a stake in it.
- Tuering: Hi-tech combustion fire-arm company owned by PULSE.
- Mercy: Manufacturer of medical equipment for commercial and civilian use.
- SnoBoll: PULSE Company that deals in adaptive defense systems.
- Wood: Wood remains one of the main resources that Munijoch exports, mostly due to their abundance of the resource and lack of real need for it. As a result, Munijoch exports of wood make up roughly 12% of all exported natural resources from the country.
- Iron and other valuable metals (gold, silver, platinum group metals)
- Mineral Water
- Military Weaponry: As a country driven primarily through economic forces in the field of sciences, it is no surprise that Munijoch exports a ton of weaponry to associations such as the Axle Powers or even the USA. This is mostly through the aforementioned major companies that exist on the island, however smaller contractors also supply base components such as radio antennas, vacuum tubes (mostly for analog purposes), and holographic projectors.
- Gas and oil: A resource that Munijoch primarily lacks is oil and oil-based products, mostly due to the islands' shallow subterranean layers with respect to bed rock, as well as the dangers of tapping said oil due to the magma chamber underneath the island. While there have been discussions about trying to compress plastic products down to carbon-based components, the cost of it outweighs the simplicity and tariffs of simply importing it to the country, mostly through Shops Island.
- Porcyal from Axle Powers
The WhiteBlood government was often compared to communist governments throughout the region due to the control economy in place at the time, as well as their close ties to communist countries. That being said, a lot of the government was actually a dictatorial-based regime with a strong emphasis on control economy, but the people did not control the means of production, nor did the government ever explicitly advertise the eventual dissolution of the government with the promise of it being ran by the people. The main goal of the WhiteBlood government was to create a society ran exclusively without magic with the eventual goal of achieving utopia through whatever means necessary, with magic being reserved for the rulers. The WhiteBlood government was run by a "council" and a main ruler, called the Omnipotent Blood, with the lower-leveled bloods descending down in the council. The leader had the final say and often dictated how money and resources should be spent.
Modern Day Politics
The main government is divided into 3 main powers, the Council of Powers, a Senate, and the House of the Public. Within the Council of Powers, the head councilmen, the President, and his co-head, the Vice-President, meet with 5 other members to discuss and bring into laws and events hosted by the government. The President has final say over anything that passes within the council.
The Senate, consisting of 19 members, overlooks that those laws are orderly, and votes whether to make it an actual law, if the case, getting back to the President to be signed, or if not, scrapping the law. If it's in between, it is sent back to the Council to remake it until it's okay to be passed. The President can override a veto once for it to be sent back to either be voted on again, or changed to their desire.
The House of the Public, consisting of 20 delegates, 1 for each city in Munijoch, gives feedback on the law, based on their city's needs and wants. If the public finds it unfair, the Senate will review and, based on a vote, either make it permanent, send it back to the Council for compromise, or veto it completely. They can be overridden however by both the Council or the Senate with enough reason.
All is not uneven, there are certain checks and balances applied here. The Council can veto a veto, but the Senate can choose to ignore it. The House of the Public can proclaim the law unaffected to the cities, but the Senate can force it. Finally, the House can elect a new Councilman so if they want to, but the Council has to be chosen based on candidates by the then-President's choosing. This way, there is no unbalance of powers between the people, the government, and the Executives.
Munijoch as a whole is identified as a constitutional democracy, where the citizens can vote for the people to take office of any of the three levels of government. Citizens are always encouraged to make their voices known toward certain issues in the country and regarding the decisions made by the government on foreign policy or how it handles war. In addition, they are allowed to publicly voice their concerns regarding social welfare provided by the country.
Most laws that are passed are based on the general population's needs and wants. Needs have more priority over wants, thus, for example, if a bill asking the government to raise the minimum wage of Ice Cream Shop owners is sent at the same time as one for a new flavor for Ice Cream, the first bill would be reviewed first with more seriousness, then the playfulness of the second.
The greater bulk of the laws are mainly for standards in housing, corporations, parks, energy standards, and water quality. Cities have their own rules on where, how, and when to build housing, offices, or energy plants. The government also can control the standards on medication, automobiles (how they run, what side on the road to drive on, etc), and uses on electricity. They set the standard as well on how electricity is generated due to pollution concerns.
Some practices that are illegal in Munijoch are:
- Communism (we all know WHY at this point)
- Denial of Penguin Rights
- Animal Abuse (The Grizzly Bear is included, as well)
..and much more.
As of 2016, 90% of Munijoch residents (that are able to vote) side with the Malkov Reformists. The other 10% are undecided, associate with another party, or do not practice poltics.
Some other Political parties include:
- Fishsoar Party: These are a group of people who believe business is the way to run a country. The corporations would gain more power in the government, and be influential in politics as well.
- Shrub Party: These people believe in an even greener future.
- Bombshell Party: These people want Munijoch more involved in wars and skirmishes, as well as an increased military budget.
Most citizens are happy with the current state of Munijoch. They enjoy a mix of freedoms not seen by most other nations. About 80% of it's citizens are upper middle class, 10% are of Upper Class (mainly due to their prominent government history) and the final 10% are of Lower class, living only in apartments. The government has gone to great lengths to prevent unfair treatment of the lower class. In the process, they set a standard in treatment of poor citizens, which no one can ever be treated unfairlty for their monetary situation. For this reason, the government has been seen as a socialism-supporting clause, however, the governmental body denies such accusations upon it.
The majority of citizens work in Information Technology, then Retail, and tourism of the country. 35% of the population are federal workers, or have some tie to the government as a whole. This does not mean Munijoch has a prominent social welfare, however. It means that the government either hired them, or they have some kind of government help (Citizen's Help, Disabled's Help, etc...).
Almost every citizen is very healthy, with a core exercise routine and a healthy diet. 5% are either skinny (anorexic) or obese. The government offers solutions to help the both classes of health. One of such solutions is a fat vaporization treatment, in which lasers are shot to vaporize the fat in the key areas of the patient's body, commonly the belly.
- Native: 10% of the population.
- Off-Islander (mainland Antarctica): 80% of the population.
- Other (other islands, mix, etc): 10% of the population.
Due to Munijoch's strong scientific standpoint, houses are commonly made into efficient, space saving buildings, usually along the mountain regions and coastline. If there is space, mansions are commonly built into mountains and partially underground as well. Housing exists underwater via glass domes on the island's side. These can double as submarine look-out posts for military use, if need be. In addition, most houses on the island are made with environmental safety in mind. This environmental consciousness is reflected in the architecture, with more curves and stronger, natural structures incorporated into the buildings than simply sharp or jagged lines. Such architecture tends to vary region by region, however, with houses in the capital being more futurist than ones in Rio de Vatica.
In a city like Rio De Vatica, with more penguins than they can use, it's common for underground communities to pop up, with parks, shopping centers, and transportation across them. With these, it allow's Munijoch to host a plethora of housing at double the space of it's actual size.
Munijoch art is commonly black and white ink on parchment paper, normally with symbols significant to Munijoch's spiritual history. Pictures of mountains, rivers, valleys, or trees are common. Colored pictures/photos of the surrounding countryside have also started to emerge in recent years, preferred by those who like the modern yet rustic life in the country. Munians tend to value paintings created in their country as opposed to art from other locations, although there has been traction recently from artists based in Margate.
Creating statues is also considered an art, hailing back to the ancient stone crafters of the natives. Most of Munijoch's stone sculptures are exquisite, some of which can go for thousands or millions of Grams. Stones include granite, marble, sandstone, or igneous rock if it's a dark color. Another recent trend has been the creation of "living" statues, which are primarily specially trimmed and grown trees that mimic either a figure, a location, or the countryside through the careful cultivation of several different species. This has primarily been adopted by the wealthy, however, and has only started to breach the culture of the middle class.
Most of Munijoch indulges on very natural food. Everything grown in Munijoch is organic and natural for their healthy and active lifestyle. Diets include meats like fish sourced through natural farms, vegetables such as tomatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, and peas, and fruits like mangoes, pears, apples, and oranges. Grapes are considered to be a standard snack time meal and is commonly eaten in Munijoch. Cream soda is usually reserved for special events and party, mostly in favor of Munijoch's mineral water. Pastries are typically incorporated into dinner, mostly with a lack of spread besides margarine or the appropriate jam, such as cranberry. Some food stalls have begun to offer pastries at breakfast through, typically light and with a fruit filling made of natural jams.
Fast food restaurants are scarce in Munijoch.
Munijoch is a huge fan of soccer, having their own team and stadium in Centrallica, the Munijoch Bears. Children can be commonly seen playing on the rooftop gardens or in alleyways between buildings. Munijoch has several simulation businesses that allow you to connect with penguins around the world in a game of virtual soccer.
Munijoch also hosts a baseball and tennis team in Mt. Vespa City, Rio de Vatica, and Port de Finipines. In addition, they are beginning to embrace the culture of e-sports, such as Super Smash Mates, which is becoming a huge sensation in Munijoch after its release due to the inclusion of several figures from Munijoch, like the President and War Chief.
Known throughout Antarctica as the Music Capital, mostly due to the President's record of music (the largest personal one on record), the citizens listen mainly to Pop, Rock, Jazz, Electronic, and Classical music from multiple artists spanning multiple generations. Most citizens do not mind what they listen to, so long as they are able to enjoy it and have a good vibe from it. Multitudes of children are quickly learning instruments to make their parents proud and perform in front of large, enthusiastic audiences.
Most homemade music that is considered "native and to it's roots" involve a mixture of guitars, pianos, saxophones, violins, cellos, basses, as well as sitars, played to a slow, meaningful tune, with drums in the background slowly being drummed on.
Typical of many other countries, Munians tend to adopt the fad at the time, with most citizens currently rocking a propeller hat, fashionable 3-D glasses, or even simple shirts. New influences pop up almost every week, further contributing to the fashion palate that is constantly expanding across the country. Reflective of these changing trends and ever expanding tastes, the best selling fashion catalog in the country is actually Penguin Style, arguably one of the most hip catalogs frequented by citizens in Munijoch. Citizens tend to prefer exported products in that regard, although they are very picky as to the specific brand and production methods, and tend to prefer said products to be sourced from natural resources responsibly. The fashionable color tends to change bi-yearly, with the current color being a deep, but still semi-light purple.
Typically, fashion produced in Munijoch is a blend of utilitarianism and breaks from the cultural norm through sharp designs that might incorporate light-greys and whites with copper or brass.
The country has several news media outlets, including Yellow Star Daily, Mountain Gazette, and satirical magazine Vespa News. Most citizens get their news from these or other sources, with a generally favorable trust rating in the integrity of newspapers within the country. Another popular media format is Chitter, which took off and remains the most popular format of media in the country. Reading remains one of the more popular forms of media in the country, with radio coming in at a close second.
Radio is generally available everywhere in the country, with a healthy amateur radio enthusiast community based in several cities across the country. The top stations are music and news stations, with several small talk stations mixed in. Satellite radio has also just been introduced after controversies surrounding potential signal interference with GPS or satellite television.
Television is close to the bottom of the list due to the healthy and active lifestyle of citizens. Most people have preference to listen or read their media on the go rather than stick around inside a house or sit on a chair. As a result, there are not a lot of television networks in the country, resulting in several underground cables connecting to UnitedTerra to get access to more channels. The top networks are usually soap opera networks, children’s programming networks, and news networks. TV signals over the air are typically used to transmit data between institutions in real time.
Notable Landmarks and Structures
- City of Progress Central Spire: A massive umbrella skyscraper stretching over the city, containing office rooms for the government, 10 restaurants, a hotel, 2 apartment companies, and the Presidential press room. On the top, known as the Upper Spire, lies the government district, boasting a small highway between towers, in which there are 13 skyscrapers, one for each portion of the government agencies, as well as a skyscraper office building for PULSE, and a small park in the middle.
- Zescore Islands: Deemed the Military Isles by citizens, tourists can easily visit the islands for boating, hiking, rock climbing, and even a tour under a lava cavern to the central magma chamber beneath Munijoch. While some areas are off limits, the government lets a lot of the islands be explored.
- Mt. Graxxar Regional Park: Even though the actual mountain is occupied by WhiteBloods, the area around the mountain is open to hiking and exploration by tourists. They are asked to be aware of the terrorists around the base, however, and take caution.
- Rio de Vatica Native Ruins: Scattered around the city and outside the city, tourists are open to seeing the way the natives once lived. Some of the original buildings are even in use currently as souvenir shops or other businesses.
- Munijoch Coastal Beaches Dozens of beaches lie around the country, areas where citizens and tourists alike can chill in the waters around the coast. During the winter, they freeze up to the point that they can be skated on within a 10 ft length from the coast.
- City of Progress Int'l. Airport (MPX): Munijoch's main airport, where they handle all flights in and out of the city on a day to day basis. Designed with modern touches in mind and sharp edges and lines, it features a numerous amount of terminals, a hotel, 25 restaurants, and is capable of take offs every 4 minutes.
- Centrallica Int'l. Airport (CAX): Munijoch's secondary airport, but rarely traversed due to it's central proximity yet equal distance from most of the large attractions in the country. Also modern, it holds half as many terminals, 12 restaurants, and take offs occur every 8 minutes.
Major Metropolitan Areas
All are from areas of the highest population to least.
- Rio de Vatica: Rio de Vatica is the cultural capitol of Munijoch in the sense that it always seems like there's a party going on there. The streets have back roads still paved in original cobble, and small restaurants and shop prosper. The buildings are typically painted pastel and have white accents on the exterior molding. Throughout the city, there are still remnants of original structures built out of stone, as well as small pyramids. The city is right on the beach, allowing citizens to leave the city and go directly onto the sandy northern coast. Around that coastal area, there are many hotels, although the neighborhood still has smaller restaurants and surf shops, along with the occasional deep grumble of the nearby ships looking to avoid the coast.
- City of Progress: The City of Progress, as it's usually called, is the official capitol of the country and is the technological capitol as well. Many companies are based here, and as a result they typically receive the go-ahead to conduct vast experiments if it means improving the city. The City of Progress is unique in the sense that it is a two-tiered city with subterranean transportation for both large vehicles and trains. In the main city, many buildings were redesigned to have more flow along the top and sides to promote wind, and equally so, many houses have rooftop communal gardens for both bees and cultivation of fruits and vegetables. This, along with solar panels, make up some of the main city skyline. The most distinctive aspect, however, is the Upper Spire, a floating platform that levitates through anti-gravitational technology coupled with superconductors and electromagnetism. The entire Upper Spire is self-sustaining, sucking moisture from the air for water needs and generating electricity through solar powered roads. Most of the government, along with several high profile businesses, have skyscrapers on the Upper Spire.
- Centrallica: Centrallica is a city that is purposefully centralized in the country. It serves as the origin of all transportation highways in the country. Despite this, it is often ignored in favor of other cities like Rio de Vatica. Despite this, there are numerous things to do in Centrallica that others might not be able to do elsewhere in Munijoch, such as cavern exploration or taking in cuisine from around the region. It’s worth noting that this city has the largest concentration of immigrants in the country, with the second being the City of Progress. This is reflected in the culture being incredibly diverse and the cuisine being equally diverse. In addition to its central location, it’s also the host of most of the data servers in the country.
- Port de Finipines: Formerly known as Port Kipaway, this port city was renamed following Joseph and Maria Yslenski's marriage as a token of appreciation towards the country of the Finipines. The city largely prides itself in being one of the best spots to fish in all of Munijoch, as well as being the secondary port for most of the country's cargo coming in from the East. Docks dominate the coastline around the city, where it is not uncommon to also see massive freighters coming in with cargo, primarily from Shops Island. Only a few hundred feet away lies the basis of the city's coastal walkway, which wraps along the city and allows for citizens to take a stroll around the city. As a port city, most of the culinary hotspots center around fish as the main entree in a meal, with others focusing on baked goods or pastries. In addition, there are numerous shops around the city where imported goods are put on discount, mostly due to defects.
- Mt. Vespa City: Mt. Vespa City has had a long history of violent uprisings in part due to its isolation in the Vespa Mountains, but it is the country’s largest producer of raw materials, and likewise is one of the more wealthier cities. Ships can receive minerals directly through an elaborate pulley and cargo container transportation system that scales the cliff faces on the west side of the island. Most citizens tend to forget the existence of the city due to the isolationism, and as a result there have been several attempts by the government to promote tourism there.
All are from highest population to least.
Special Exempt Zones
There are some areas of Munijoch which are strictly for government use or under quarantine by the government due to dangers apparent in the area, or health hazards, or simply off limits due to government activities and procedures in place for the military.
Munijoch Vanguard Force Headquarters
Situated on the south-eastern coast of Munijoch, the headquarters serves as the central operations of the military, and includes the office of Isaac Juggernaut, and the War Room. While under heavy guarding and surveillance by the military, as well as mandatory traffic stops along the highway leading in and out of the nearby road to it, the government makes it known that it is, in fact, off limits.
Internal Gate of Entry
Located between two of the Zescorian islands, the Gate of Entry is the immigration and trade gate for ships entering the waters of the City of Progress. Inside the gate is a collection of servicemen watching closely at anyone trying to slip by their gaze, or any illegal items entering without being checked. While only accessible from a select area of tunnels, the government still keeps it posted that violators will be imprisoned for trespassing government property.
Mt. Graxxar Caverns or Entrances
Even though the Mountain, once a volcano, is inactive now, the internal structure of the mountain is filled not with lava, but with the terrorist group, the WhiteBloods, having established a headquarters there within the mountains. In addition, several caverns hold traps, pits, or steam vents leading directly from the magma chamber below Munijoch. While the government cannot arrest citizens for trespassing, they highly advise visiting the location due to this, and to keep their guard up for any suspicious activity.
Per the constitution, all students are required to be in school until the age of 18, with no exception to this rule. While the school structure was originally intended to feed propaganda to students in the country, it has since evolved to be one of the best in the region, with students outperforming almost every other country in standardized testing. Pursuant to this, the country has reformed the education system to be especially receptive to advanced and gifted students that might end up lost in the system due to rigidity in school structure. The effects of this have been positive, and more students graduate without debt and sooner than other students, with more incentive to pursue a masters degree, which the government offers to pay for, as well as a complimentary Ph. D.
Students are required to partake in a minimum of 8 years of primary school (grades 1-8) with an optional two years of Pre-Primary School available. While in school, they are expected to learn the basics of mathematics, science, language studies, as well as other subjects like Antarctic and Munijoch history. By the time they have completed it, the student will have been expected to have learned a secondary language to English, the basics of advanced geometry, an instrument, and recall the histories of both Antarctica and Munijoch.
Munijoch uses dynamic education in order to ensure that a student is challenged at all times. This means that anyone of any age past the eighth year of schooling, usually around 14 years of age, can get a quality education that allows them to be both competitive and properly challenged throughout their time in school. Prior to starting the 9th grade, a student completes a placement test to determine where they should be placed for mathematics, various world languages, English, history, and the sciences. They then begin a customized set of classes that align to their pace of learning. If the teacher notices that they are understanding the course load, they complete another placement test for that class, as well as the other class that comes next in series. If they pass, they begin the next semester. Using this, a student can eventually start to earn college credit for their classes, as well making progress on their major classes, if they are certain in their choices at that time.
By the 10th grade, the students are assigned a research project into a certain field and, eventually, job. By the end of this project, the students take a survey asking if the job they chose is their preferred career choice, and if they answer yes, they are put on a class course for next year that aligns with it. If they don't they offer them the standardized schedule to fulfill general education requirements in college, as well as any choices that can be made for a potential major if they happened to finally decide by then.
Electives are also offered in secondary school, such as woodworking, programming, robotics, television production, journalism fundamentals, bodybuilding, culinary arts, and computer building.
There are numerous universities in Munijoch, catering to all sorts of different careers, such as Engineering, Art, Mathematics, Law, etc. While they are mostly in Rio de Vatica and the City of Progress, several have begun to pop up around the entire country, such as Port de Finipines and other cities. Each university has a capacity of around 30,000 students and last 4 years for a basic Bachelor's degree. There are a total of 45 universities across the country in various locations. They have also partnered with secondary schools to provide both in-person and online college classes to students that meet or exceed secondary school standards.

Despite placing an emphasis on mass transit in both the countryside and in urban areas, Munijoch still boasts multiple types of transports around the island. Reflective of this emphasis, however, are trains, with 45% of the population using it to get around both the cities and country. They have a highway system as well, going through, around, and onto the Zescore islands.
Cars make up 20% of the transportation in Munijoch, which are usually sedans, large coupes, or smart, electric vehicles. Trucks are kept at a separate level than the city streets in order to prevent congestion. Roundabouts within the city are common, featuring statues or monuments within them, or small parks. The roads are made of solar panels to power the neighborhood where the roads are in. Paved roads only make up the highways in the country side, and are made of recycled plastics.
Buses run on the city streets and are purely electric. Special electromagnetic charging plates are at each stop, designed to charge the bus's batteries when stopped. If someone is taking a bus cross-country, they are forced to ride a hydrogen fuel cell bus, in which the price is hiked due to the price of the cells along the stop, and are limited to roughly 3 destinations throughout the country.
Trains are the most common form of transportation, taking up 45% of the total methods in Munijoch. They commonly run underground in the cities, such as the City of Progress and Rio de Vatica, on the 2nd underground level. Elevators around the cities provide access, and usually host hotels to stay if need be, as well shopping centers and food courts. The stations are decorated based on the region of Munijoch, and usually offer different cuisines both within the station and in the train depending on where it is. The Munijoch railway system covers most cities, and can usually be reached from others not directly connected within a thirty minute drive.
90% of trains on Munijoch are electric bullet trains, running on geothermal-based energy. The other 10% are on diesel, mainly for long term transport of cargo across the country.
10% of travelers in Munijoch take private planes to small air strips across the country. Using mainly small transport planes or private jets, they prefer to do so due to the amount of time it takes to go on land. Munijoch has two major airports, however: Munijoch International Airport and the Rio de Vatica Airport. These airports also serve multinational locations around both the region and Antarctica. They are commonly a hybrid style of plane, running on an electric motor until the jet fuel engine must turn on.
Boats make up 10% of all transportation in Munijoch, surprisingly. Most boats run on electricity and charge up at the numerous docks around Munijoch, such as the City of Progress Civilian Harbor or the Rio de Vatica Docks. Most people prefer to take the boat due to the scenic views of the coast of Munijoch you simply cannot get while on land. There has also been a growing movement among some citizens to "live" on the boats, albeit in docks located right next to them. This mostly results in the conversion of some boats into homes, although the government has not given a clear stance as to whether this is truly environmentally conscious or not.
In addition, the government and most corporations utilize long term diesel boats for cargo transport across the region and Antarctica due to their ability to withstand rougher oceanic conditions. These boats are usually bigger than an average boat, though they operate more like a cruise ship than a traditional passenger boat.
Bikes make up the final 15% of Munijoch, often spotted around large cities or community areas. 45% of these bikes are electric, running on batteries to drive a small motor to turn the wheel, usually with a 4 hour run time with a manual pedal option to both operate the bike and generate power back into the battery. The rest are mainly manual bikes, mostly sleek and made of carbon fiber, sold at specialty stores. Recently, a sport has been growing known as "Fix its" when you take a bike and do tricks with it, mainly with the bike stripped of most technological advantages, such as brakes.
Main Article: Munijoch Vanguard Force
Munijoch has a strong military as a whole, with over 4 million penguins in it, ready to serve their country, just in the Foreign Vanguard Force alone. The entirety of it is composed of Homeland, Foreign, Royal, and Commercial Vanguard Forces. Each of these sectors have a full fledged Army, Navy, and Air Squadron to defend the cause they were called to fight in. The President, also, has a personal array of military-grade weapons at his disposal, in case he must be left alone, or sent on an embassy mission. For this reason, the classification of upgrades for the Vanguard sections are listed in importance, President first, followed by Foreign, Homeland, Royal, and Commercial Vanguard Forces.
The Homeland Vanguard Force is composed of 25% Land Tanks, 25% Naval Ships, and 50% Aircraft. They commonly use stealth technology, bomb detection, anti-heat seeking missiles, and an array of explosives to combat the at-home enemy. They are commonly 20% weaker than the foreign weapons, due to the fact that Munijoch manufactures the strongest army-grade vehicle sector on it's land. They are made to combat terrorism, public chaos, or uprisings among the government or public. Munijoch rarely uses it's homeland military.
They recently got possession of Mercu-Solid tanks, and are now using these in experimental weapon forces. They patrol the waters around Munijoch and Zescore to prevent rogue attackers.
Zescore is considered part of the Homeland Vanguard Force with it's warships, such as the Z-S391 or the Z-RAM, which patrol Zescore around it's coast.
The Foreign Vanguard Force is the more elite squadron in the military. They have stronger stealth cloaks, proton-missiles, pulse engine technologies, strong radio telecommunication, nuclear proton-missiles, oil attacks, tactical dominance, and an organized existence overall. They are composed of 25% Land Tanks, 10% Naval Ships, and 65% Aircraft. They use, also, an Airship known among the military as MJ-680. It is a large, pulse engine-powered beast of an Air Tank, with 10 cannons on each deck, being 4 decks, that shoot out a massive energy laser beam at the target.
The Navy utilizes a massive warship, the Armada 1, to act as it's naval launch center. Containing 5 smaller warships, average size, 45 aircraft, 30 cannons firing pulse beams, 450 penguins on board, anti-heat-seeking, and bombproof, it's the strongest ship in it's arsenal, and another is being made, due to funding as well.
Munijoch has been developing a super tank as well, called the MJ-REXXAR, it's a massive land vehicle, containing 45 smaller tanks for 2 men each, 250 penguin crew, an armada of missiles and general weapons at their disposal, and bomb proofing. Each tank inside contains 3 cannons, a rugged grip on the rock, 2 nuclear missiles, cup holders, and is bombproof. 5 special tanks utilize the Mercu-solid technology to split into 3 smaller, tactical tanks.
Recently with the finishing of Munijoch's mercu-solid, and The Axle Powers funding, they were able to increase manpower by 5000%, to a 6 million strong armada of men and women wanting to serve, and vehicles that could split into two without difficulty. This means that the military, with increased funding and power, is rapidly growing, and the imports are contributing by the second, thanks to Shops Island's vehicle imports, and Munijoch metal and wood exports.
The scientists have also completed development with hyper-sonic spacecraft, thanks to Ed Island's knowledge on it, and has presented a final product spacecraft. Called the MJ-RAH, it is the first MJ built spacecraft, and contains 2 tons worth weaponry as pulse-lasers, ballistic missiles powered by nuclear, and cup holders.
The Royal Vanguard Force mainly composes of a 70-Person army of men. Each man is armed with a Pulse Gun, a small semi-auto, a whacker, and a Call to Arms button, which when pressed, deploys active military to the area of where they are at. They never leave the President's side while he is travelling, and will protect the President at all costs, as well as the family.
The Commercial Vanguard Force is a government provided, but commercially operated defense for trade flights to and from other nations of which Munijoch has negative relations with them. It's 100% Aircraft controlled, and the Foreign Vanguard Force Naval Ships act as their launch area, carrying one Commercial Vanguard aircraft. The aircraft is armed only with a Pulse Gun, on it's underside to shoot enemy aircraft down.
The Presidential Vanguard Force is the President's personal armada of military goodies. It is composed of 1 Land Vehicle, 1 Aircraft, and 1 Naval Vehicle. Those 3 are some of the most advanced vehicles in the area, with just the aircraft having an experimental technology called Mercu-Solid, a mercury-iron compound that is being used to split vehicles apart, yet still operate. He possesses a sports car, called the MJ-280X, which is one of the fastest known, with a quad-turbo V-16 and Gatling guns hidden in the headlights. He also has one of the fastest jets, the MJ-Terminus, which is a semi-autonomous aircraft with 5 different types of weapons on board.
The Military Development branch of the Vanguard Force is largely made up of military scientists and researchers collaborating from the various companies on Munijoch, such as PULSE, and in-house laboratories such as SI:9's Zero Sector. Due to the secretive nature of their work, the results of their experiments are largely blacklisted, and not many people are aware that such a branch exists, apart from when the government announces a breakthrough attributed to this branch of the military. While it might be generous to even consider this to be a "branch" of the military, it is still treated as such, and even operate a single fighter jet for use in ionospheric condition gathering.
Off-Island Colonies and Islands
Munijoch, at the moment, only has three colonies and Islands. As well as this, they have stationed, so far, two ship islands for active deployment across the Antarctic sea. This ring of power controlled by Munijoch is commonly addressed by other nations as the 6-Point Empire. Others will be listed when they are acquired, such as below:
- Zescore - A military colony and island of Munijoch, off it's coast.
- Salia Island - A rogue colony captured following Isaac Juggernaut's rise to power.
- Valron Island - A colony invaded and seceded to Munijoch.
- Munijoch Armada Ship Class One - Munijoch's first ship island, stationed 100 miles south of Zescore. It's large and is Munijoch's look out point for attackers.
- Munijoch Armada Ship Class Two - Munijoch's second ship island, stationed near Shops Island's as a defense post.
- Water in a 10 mile radius around Munijoch, patrolled by Zescorian and Munijoch military forces.
- Jointly occupied Territorial Waters around the Axle Powers.
Relationships with Countries and Organizations
- Shops Island: Terrific!- Shops Island and Munijoch are in a strong military alliance and trade pact with the country, reinforced by their President's and former-President Yslenski's friendship. Despite Shops Island frequently criticizing the country for their flaws, the two realize it is all playful banter and instead focus on the big picture at hand.
- Ed Island: Terrific!- Ed Island and Munijoch are also in the same alliance, and frequently are compared in terms of technology, being two of the most advanced countries in Antarctica, with Ed Island slightly beating the country out. As a result, the two share several friendly rivalries.
- Culldrome Isles: Terrific!- Culldrome Isles and Munijoch, while not interacting as often as the other two members of the Axle Powers, still hold each other in high regard, frequently sharing scientific studies, notes, and machines in an effort to match their much stronger counterparts.
- UnitedTerra: Terrific! Munijoch was happy to help with U.T's plan to become relevant in the region again, trading goods, some military items, and assisting in political roles.
- Margate: Terrific! Even though Margate is in the Axle Power's friend-emy, the Western Union, the two engage in active trade and Margate even ordered military items from PULSE. In addition, the two countries engage in development of Magonia.
- Finipines: Terrific!- With the marriage of Maria Yslenski and Joseph, the former first couple, they have become well known partners, notable throughout Antarctica for their story of how they (awkwardly) got together.
- Dorkugal: Terrific!- With Munijoch's belief of holding high relations with people of higher intelligence, Munijoch was obliged to offer an official alliance with the country, even providing them with laboratories for them to work in, as well as multiple comic books for them to subscribe to every month. High powered computers are often exported onto the island, and the two frequently collaborate on science projects.
- United States of Antarctica: Terrific!- Munijoch looks at the USA as one of the greater allies, strengthened by their willingness to assist the country in modernizing their defense systems, as well as provide critical military operations in an effort to develop strategies. In turn, the USA provides key resources needed by the country, along with friendly advice and a terrific friendship between the political figures.

The national anthem has a large plethora of brass instruments, as well as an evil theme at first, but going into an ancient empire style theme, relating to the ancient history of Munijoch.
The Royal theme of Munijoch has an imperial feel to it.
- The Presidential Palace holds an underground record of every instrument brought to the island, as well as about 10,000 records and CD's of musical masterpieces, due to the President's love for music. It's one of the largest personal records in Antarctica.
- The majority of houses Munijoch builds and manufactures contain cup holders.
- They hold a strong relationship with the Finipines, seeing as one of their natives was the First Lady of Munijoch.
- The City of Progress was named as such due to it's ever-growing nature and the want of progress on the island.
- Their national colors are Red (dark and regular), white, and yellow.
- The jets have 3 gas canisters that when deployed, release pigment into the air that make Munijoch's flag. The pigment is all natural, of course.
- In their National Scientific Museum, they house prototypes and replicas of past discoveries and inventions for science.
- Their military has a horrible history of surrendering in battle.
