This is Munijoch after the dissolution of Shops Island following the Shops Civil War and with it the Axle Powers

The Republic of Munijoch is an Island Nation located north of Antarctica. It is a member of the Western Union and The Zeta Connections. Munijoch was reborn in 2021 after Joseph Yslenski "died" by the hands of Victor Malkov. After the self-destruction of Shops Island in 2026, Munijoch joined the Western Union to compensate for the loss of a proper Union. Munijoch grew powerful in the years leading up to Shop Island's demise, consuming resources to grow and strengthen it's military and civilization. In the process, they colonized Zescore's mountainous terrain and almost annihilated the WhiteBlood threat entirely.

Changes made to Munijoch

Yslenski Administration (post Joseph): Maria

In 2022, Munijoch dug deep into the ground, finding that the magma chamber below is quickly drying up due to plate tectonics moving it away from the magma hot spot. PULSE suggested that they put an uncooled version of it's Reactor down there to melt the rock and form the magma chamber once again. Maria agreed, and on July 9th, 2025, PULSE initiated the largest geo-machinery project thus far on Munijoch, creating a magma chamber artificially. It worked, and on January 5th, 2026, Munijoch's magma reserves were pre-Maria levels.

Munijoch experienced heavy modernizations following Maria's rise to power, upgrading their military and infrastructure to sustainable options following the dissolution of the Axle Powers. After being admitted to the Western Union, Munijoch greatly beefed their defense and military might, all the while sucking the smaller powers' economies and filling it's own, while replenishing them with their great loads of materials and goods. It quickly became a power nation on the regional scale, bearing unprecedented growth in almost all fields.

Munijoch also greatly increased alliances, seeing that military conquest doesn't lead to greater economic growth, successfully allying themselves to over 15 more countries over the course of her reign. During this time, she gained the nickname of the "Iron Lady" due to her stern views on how a company should be managed.

Following Joseph and Maria's passing in 2055, Matthew Yslenski took over.

Yslenski Administration (post Joseph): Matthew

The Presidency of Matthew brought heavy economic advancements in science and technology and massive growth of PULSE, developing groundbreaking technology in addition to heavy modernization for the 21st Century in 2055. He implemented a strict policy for job growth and development to be made strictly in Munijoch, as well as reevaluating the government structure and methods of running it and overhauling it in the long term. By the year 2081, he resigned, citing that he's "done his part, and now it's time to let someone else take the reigns of leadership."

He's renowned by then for leading a huge liberal agenda, providing more welfare for their citizens than any of the previous presidents ever did. His economic policies brought a 20% increase in GDP for Munijoch, uplifting the economy and further flinging Munijoch into a super power status.

Baine Administration: Jericho

When Matthew stepped down, a young, enthusiastic penguin by the name of Jericho Baine, son of the Master Tactician of the same name, offered to take his place. Boasting a number of the same policies, he was quickly elected, and claims to align with the Malkov Reformists. On the contrary, however, he was a firm believer in iron fist democracy. While he was President, vast protests across the country took place, threatening to put the country on a power swing, citing that, after he walled off the City of Progress from aggressors, that "Walls will fall like Jericho," until it fell the next month.

Jericho was rumored to have been a WhiteBlood insurgent, believing in their policies more so than Joseph's. He's often compared to Victor on corruption scales. While he claimed he shall have "a hundred year rule of prosperity," he was overthrown and impeached after 4 months. All of his policies and economic decisions were overturned, and the country was under a short period of council ruling until they came to grip the terms of what just happened.

Numerous other Administrations: Alexander, Johnson, and Dexter

Following the period of council ruling, a councilman by the name of Alexander Graham ran for office. Skeptical, but optimistic, the country voted him in, to which he actually kept his word and wasn't corrupt. He continued the same policies that Matthew and Joseph implemented, and further strengthened them, evolving them to fit for the modern age and empowering the economy by increasing exports and job growth. He expanded other cities and began the rebuilding of Hudison City, ravaged by radiation, by cleansing the soil and buildings heavily. He evened the population distribution in Munijoch to these cities, building a stronger infrastructure as well.

In 2140, Alexander stepped down and was replaced by Johnson Naric. Johnson thought like Alexander, and increased the construction of smaller cities and began to reclaim land in the northern part of Munijoch lost to global warming. Filling it with landfill that's been compacted and sealed shut, they regained roughly 50% of Munijoch's current size, building new cities, such as Matthem, The Bague, and others. He further strengthened economic policies, and increased environmental policies as well to further decrease fossil fuel use.
