Oh-Ho is Chub 777's pet phoenix. He has been a valuable asset and helper of the Adelie brothers, especially during The Epic Adelie Story. Oh-Ho possesses the elemental powers of Card-Jitsu and can use it at will, as well as having a lot of strength and good flying abilities.
Background[edit]
Oh-Ho's egg hatched a long time ago, in the deep dark caves of Stoneheart Island. Not many know of Oh-Ho's exact origins beside this; it is unknown where the egg came from. Oh-Ho grew up with many the many other phoenixes on the island, which was known for having a large phoenix population. However, after a while, Oh-Ho began to grow tired of his life with the phoenixes and decided to flee, bound for a far off land.
Oh-Ho, after a long time flying, eventually arrived in the wooded forests of the Culldrome Isles. He decided to settle here, after finding life peaceful and simple life. Soon, however he was spotted by a penguin, lost in the forest. Deciding to help the penguin out, he guided them out of the forest. Afterwards, the penguin decided to keep Oh-Ho as his pet, to which he gladly accepted. The penguin, who was a member of the Culldrom army, decided to put Oh-Ho into good use. He was used for delivering battle plans and messages to others on the battle field. Oh-Ho continued his army duties for several months. One day, though, a snowball struck him while flying, which in turn, made him dive to the ground. He broke his right wing and was rescued by another penguin, who also decided to keep him. Oh-Ho disliked this penguin as his new owner and escaped. Like before, he flew off far for more unknown lands.
As Oh-Ho was flying, he flew through a rainbow. This rainbow was actually formed by the Pectosphere. This gave Oh-Ho Card-Jitsu-like powers. It also gave him all sorts of different powers, such as being able to fly carrying heavy things. Oh-Ho could now summon all sorts of powers and had control over the elements. Oh-Ho could summon a ball of water, a flame from his wings and ice from his beak. He could also combine all of these elements to form a massive attack. Oh-Ho also gained the ability to create a trail of rainbows as he flew. The rainbows could temporarily amplify his powers and the powers of Ninjas who used the power of Card-Jitsu.
Oh-Ho eventually made his way to Antarctica. As he flew in, a scientist spotted him. Wanting to conduct research on phoenixes, he took Oh-Ho to his laboratory for research. He hooked the phoenix up to several research devices and computers. The scientist conducted experiments on Oh-Ho, like immersing him in a solution of Ditto and Porcyal fragments. With these experiments, Oh-Ho's powers were suddenly amplified, making him even more powerful. Oh-Ho was also treated badly, for the scientist's benefit. Oh-Ho, fed up, flew away and escaped the lab.
Soon after, while Chub 777 was trekking to a mountain summit, Oh-Ho was eating some fruit nearby. When Chub discovered the phoenix, he got him and made him perch on his shoulder. Upon going back down the mountain, Chub named the phoenix Oh-Ho, after a phoenix that originated in a far away land (Oh-Ho did not have a name back then). Oh-Ho became a well known pet and had many roles during The Epic Adelie Story saga. Oh-Ho has helped Chub and Buhc during their adventures countless times.
Involvement[edit]
Oh-Ho's original, and present, role was to be a messenger on the battle field. Messages can be carried in its beak or tied to its leg. However, due to the Pectosphere rainbow event, Oh-Ho gained Card-Jitsu like powers. This give it a dual-type role as a defender. A ball of ice, fire or water can be formed by putting it's wing tips close together or opening its mouth. Oh-Ho can also break, tear and open things. This ability has aided Chub on many occasions.
Oh-Ho does have a few weaknesses. Like any other bird, he can injure his wings and stop flying. Overusing his powers can also tire Oh-Ho out and stop him from using his powers for a while. A major weakness also seems to be Ditto, which can stop Oh-Ho from using his powers.
Abilities[edit]
Oh-Ho has many Card-Jitsu base abilities and can use them at any time.
- Ice Beam
Oh-Ho flaps down his wings as a ball of ice is formed between them. A beam of ice is then shot from the ball, which hits the target.
- Fire Blast
Oh-Ho leans back and opens its mouth wide open. Flames and embers shoot out from its mouth and at the target.
- Water Wave
Oh-Ho pulls its wings back as wave of water is magically summoned beneath them. As its wings are pushed forward, the water is thrown at the target.
- Elemental Blast
Oh-Ho pulls back its wings and forms three balls, a ball of fire, water and ice. After the balls spin around, they all join and merge into one big energetic ball that flies off towards the target.
Oh-Ho also possesses super strength, able to pick up Chub and Buhc and fly for a while. A rainbow trail and golden dust can sometimes radiate from its tail. This is rumored to have healing powers and paralyze enemies. Oh-Ho has a weaker telepathic ability than that compared to Puffles, but can still move about small objects.
