The 1968 Invasion of Olde Antarctica, commonly referred to as the War of the Worlds or Old World vs. New World, was a conflict between fascist, anti-monarchy insurgent group Les Rogues and coalition forces of Olde Antarctica, Autonomous State of Azilda and Sherby Hoodwounds (after April 10).
After Les Rogues invaded Azilda and created Roguesia, they used the state to launch attacks on Olde Antarctica, beginning with the Air Kingdom on April 8. Seven towns were held captive by noon, and the Summit held an emergency meeting, eventually sending out its troops to hold back the impending forces. Roguesia also broke the peace treaty signed with Sherby Hoodwounds, prompting Sherby to enter the war as well. The Autonomous State of Azilda joined on April 9.
By April 13, Les Rogues was losing the battle after Olde Antarctica troops got onto the shore and Sherby Hoodwounds invading from the south. At 3:05 PM, a ceasefire was signed and officiated between Les Rogues and Olde Antarctica. However, Les Rogues owed much debt to various arms manufacturers, and it was annexed by Sherby Hoodwounds on May 14. The next year, Les Rogues disbanded after a decline in membership.
