Origin Stories: The Hochstadt Brothers is a third person account of the early lives of the three main Hochstadt Brothers- Swiss Ninja, Fisch, and Clovis, as well as their lesser known older brother, Gaston. The story chronicles the lives of these four penguins from their arrival in Club Penguin to their early adulthood.
Prologue[edit]
The year was 1988, and it was a warm Antarctic day in early August on the island of Club Penguin. Unlike what it had later become, Club Penguin was far less populated. The island only had a small downtown of run down stores, , offices, a movie theater, and a restaurant, while the rest of the island consisted of a small community of igloos for the regular inhabitants, a small community of Ninjas that was situated near the foothills, and the Dojo that was perched upon a mountain. One of the igloos recently built in the community had recently been purchased, and the Realtor had arrived to introduce the family to their new home.
The Realtor unlocked the wooden door and opened it, flooding in the light from the outside into the empty igloo.
Realtor:"Ahh! There's nothing better than a New Igloo smell!"
The father of the family, the head of the household, a seemingly intelligent but meek penguin, stood next to him with his luggage bag.
Red River 2:"Yes...Thank you sir. I think we'll be fine for now."
Realtor:"Here's your key to the house, Mr. Hochstadt."
Just as the Realtor was about to drop the keys into Red River 2's flipper, the pink flipper of his wife snatched the keys from the Realtor's flipper as she came from the moving truck parked outside. A proud and self-centered woman who loved power and order, Tammyfeih often wore the pants in the family due to her dominant character.
Tammyfeih:"Thank you very much, sir."
The Realtor stepped back and chuckled as he put his flippers into his pockets.
Tammyfeih:"What, you've never seen a strong willed woman before? I have four boys to take care of, technically five!"
Red River 2:"Hey!"
Realtor:"Sorry, ma'am."
Tammyfeih looked behind herself, where she was watching her children playing and running around in the front yard. One of the twins, Swiss Ninja, was chasing his younger twin Fisch and his older brother Gaston with a stick. The youngest child, Clovis, was sitting by himself, playing with the snow.
Realtor:"You do look like you're going to have a bunch of nice kids. I can imagine that when they grow up, they'll..."
Tammyfeih:"Oh, will you get out of here already? Your services are no longer needed. We'll be unpacking ourselves."
Tammyfeih shooed the Realtor away immediately, not allowing him to say a single word more as her annoyance with him had reached its maximum. She wasn't the type to engage in mindless small talk.
Tammyfeih:"Red, don't just sit there! Let's get to work and start moving things in."
Red River 2:"Huh? Oh, yes, dear. Of course."
Red River 2 made his way to the moving truck and started loading boxes onto a dolly. Tammyfeih called for the attention of her children.
Tammyfeih:"Children! Come and see our new igloo!"
Swiss Ninja, Fisch, and Gaston:"Yaaaay!"
The three children dashed into the igloo and ran wildly through the rooms with excitement. Tammyfeih picked up Clovis and carried him into the igloo as Red River 2 started bringing boxes into the igloo. The Hochstadt Family was making themselves at home.
