PESRB, or Penguin Entertainment Software Ratings Board, is a rating program for almost every video game made. One example is Five Nights at Fluffy's. First, when the game-making process is complete for a video game, the ratings board decides what rating it must have, after they decide, it gets released to shelves for penguins of the rating's age group group to buy.

Ratings Guide[edit]

  • C: C means Chicks, this rating is appropriate for ANY age group. But those games are normally directed towards chicks. These games shouldn't contain violence of any sort, they should have absolutely NO swearing.
  • E: E means Everyone, this rating is still very appropriate, and for ANY age group. These games can contain mild, cartoon, or slapstick violence, and it's okay with a few exclamations such as "Crap" or "Dang".
  • E10+: E10+ means Everyone 10 and older might not be suitable for anybody under to age of 10, hence the name. These games CAN contain a little bit of unrealistic blood and violence, and CAN allow up to 2 mild profanities.
  • T: T means Teen. These games should ONLY be played by 12 Y/O's at the least. It CAN contain blood and non-graphic slight gore (E.G. non-graphic limbs), and they CAN contain a bit of profanity, nothing that bad though.
  • M: M' means Mature. These games should ONLY be played by 17 year old penguins. This can contain violence, mild language, and mild lyrics.

The PESRB will NOT allow games to be released to stores if they exceed these limits, as the penguin world is much more controlled and appropriate than the human world.

Trivia[edit]

  • This is a direct parody of the real-life ESRB.
  • There is a special rule among their ratings, if a game features an appearance of Mabel in any way, cameo or not, the game will get an automatic T rating, the reason for that is because Mabel is so vile and sadistic that they have no other choice but to give it a T rating.
