Penguintropolis is the largest Residential Server in all of Club Penguin, covering most of the island in skyscrapers and other large buildings full of apartments.
History[edit]
The server of Penguintropolis was ordered by Economic Borders Unlimited in early 2005, during the last year of the Penguin Chat program. It was slated to become one of the main "Residential" Servers.
It was founded by Mayor Billybob in mid-2005, who started building it (literally) from the ground up , since all of the existing buildings except the Dojo had been razed to make way for the new design.
Instead of the normal "R" server design, which was to be covered in igloo neighborhoods, this one was to be covered in apartment buildings. A different style, to test the design.
Over the years of Club Penguin's growing popularity, Penguintropolis had a boom as well. Only a few years after it was created, Penguintropolis had more than two million citizens! More and more apartment buildings showed up, and eventually it became the most populated server in all of Club Penguin.
