Pepper Ridge is an odd penguin who lives out in the desert, she is available as an artist for commissions but penguins often tell potential customers that she is hard to work with.
Personality[edit]
It is hard to describe her without using the word "eccentric" first and for most, she is quite paranoid. Pepper believes that there are aliens and all sorts of other things are out there. This belief has lead her to becoming a paranoid person that dislikes social situations, she is fairly quiet and mild mannered when meeting new people until her interest in cryptology is brought up then you will see her total obsession with the matter.
Of the few locals that have had extensive conversations with this shut-in state that she very much lacks a filter and can be overly harsh or blunt at times, claiming that "sugar coating is just your close ones keeping the truth from you". It is also note worthy that she poses great determination and commitment in her pursuit of her hobbies, she has quite the tenacious streak.
History[edit]
As a child growing up in unusually warm and humid climates for a penguin, Pepper long thought that she would continue her family's long line of mollusk farming and cage making until one day she claim to have seen the Arica Monster and has ever since then been obsessed with finding cryptids. Eventually she went to Antarctica on scholarship and got a degree in metal work and ultimately moved around looking for cryptids.
Pepper eventually found herself in the desert, enamored by the night time sky and landscape which she began to paint, finding a real passion for the trade. It was possible that she could have given up the search for monsters and aliens entirely and just become a landscape painter if it weren't for the fact that there was an UFO sighting which was quickly covered up by a long distance branch of the EPF.
Involvement[edit]
As of late, Pepper has made an acquaintance named Alvarado Street whom she has brought along on a number of hair brained expeditions. Rumors say that the two are conspiring against the EPF and plan to infiltrate them and find out what they're really up to. No further information is known about this plot.

- Unlike most penguins she can stand much higher temperatures, being of a tropic subspecies
