Marco "Polo" Field, better known by his middle name Polo, is the current vice president of the USA. He was originally running for President in The USA Presidential Elections 2012, but he did not win. To be fair, Spike Hike made him vice president. Polo Field is obsessed with his keytar in the same way Jet Pack Guy is obsessed with his jet pack. Until 2015, he was also mayor of Club Penguin Island.
Background[edit]
Polo Field was born on September 18, 1987. Polo lived a generally quiet and uneventful life for most of his life, but that all changed when Club Penguin Island transformed into the Club Penguin as it is known today. Polo started getting involved in CP's government matters as early as 2006. During this time, his contributions and extravagant ideas were seen as well-intentioned, but ultimately not for the benefit of the community. Polo became a key figure in public relations starting in 2011, when he began to appear in many promotional videos set up by Club Penguin's government. In late 2012, many high-ranking government officials from the USA announced their retirement almost simultaneously. These people included Billybob, who was president of the USA at the time. So, a snap election was called. Polo Field, and his friend, Spike Hike, campaigned fiercely in The USA Presidential Elections 2012. The first vote was indecisive, and Polo was defeated in the second vote by a narrow margin. Out of sympathy, Spike appointed Polo Field to be his vice-president, an office he still holds to this day. Polo Field also became mayor of Club Penguin, a position in which he oversaw the decline of CP's popularity and economy. Polo resigned from CP's mayoral office in 2015, and was replaced by Megg. He ran for president in 2016 and, according to numbers, might be the next president of the USA, due to his fame and Megg, which happens to be his Vice President.
Involvement[edit]
Polo Field is actively involved in Club Penguin and the USA's community, and is often regarded as the spokesman for the USA and Club Penguin in Antarctica, as Spike Hike is often too busy, attending to matters of state. Polo often travels all over Antarctica, visiting other countries and encouraging those to move to the USA. When he's not on the go, he's in Club Penguin, enjoying his time with the community of the island, planning (terrible) parties, and destroying the island's political and economic fabric, despite his best intentions. He can often be found hanging out with Spike Hike, Billybob, Megg, Gary, Aunt Arctic, Rockhopper, and many others.
Personality[edit]
Polo Field is a very outgoing penguin, who commonly organizes events on Club Penguin for the fun of the community. He can often be seen waddling around on the island and making new friends, and making sure everything is in check. Many say he has a sunny disposition, and is often considered too silly and "not serious", which was a main reason why he didn't become president of the USA. Nevertheless, he can still entertain a crowd and keep Club Penguin a fun-filled community, through laughter, initiative, and positive actions.
